Christian Chat

Hi my friends, this is Bella here, I thought how nice & lovely to have a Thread for Christians. I am not talking about Religion, GOD is Love, GOD gives free will to us all in the world. I have a relationship with GOD through HIS Word-The Bible, most of my life. I became a Pentecostal Christian many years ago. Would you like to come join me here in this Thread?

I am excited about starting it, you can just sit relax, chat about your love, for GOD & JESUS. Or post encouragement for others. Support, or be supported with Prayer. Hey, would you like to, Praise & post links to Praise & Worship music? Stories, or experiences, poetry, fun things to help us have a giggle, lovely pictures, photos, there are so many things you can post & chat about that will Bless & Build us up in The LORD! Life is about giving, loving, healing flows from a loving heart, whom purely wants to- just give!

I hope & pray, you will receive, Peace, Love, & JOY!... & healing in your heart! Amen xo <>< Bella 🙂

I am not doing well at the moment, life seems so pointless. Can you please remember me in your prayers as I struggle through some immense feelings of pain and rejection.
I want to hate my sister but I know God would be disappointed in me. Seems all I am good at these days is disappointing people!!

Take care and thank you for your prayers

xoxo

Re: Christian Chat

I love the sound of your crazy cat lady sister. @ENKELI

My neighbours used to call me the crazy cat lady. I wondered why when I only had two cats. Years later they told me they used to sit and listen to me talk to them like the babies that they were. They thought it was hilarious. Welcome to my world. I love all animals and can't wait until I find the next one...or they find me. They helped me with feeling less alone.

I went to a lookout to get a picture of the moon rising but it was too overcast, and the midges came out. Guess who forgot to bring the insect repellent? 💛

Re: Christian Chat

Hey @ENKELI , seeking you out to see if I can help support you tonight. I am so sorry that you are feeling that you "aren't meant to" spend tonight with anyone, and feeling alone and rejected. That is a lot to be sitting with alone.

I have also spent the evening by myself (other than the forum). Doesn't mean there is anything wrong with us because we don't have people to spend the evening with.

Can we chat?

Re: Christian Chat

@ENKELI It must be horrible the place you have to be at the moment. Please remember Jesus is with you even now. Longing to comfort you where you hurt deepest.

Praying you find His peace for yourself tonight. You are very deeply loved!

Re: Christian Chat

Happy New Year to everyone!

@heartathome , @DownMoreThanUp , @Appleblossom , @ENKELI , @REDLINEZ750 ,

Luke 20 today.

- Jesus teaching in the Temple.

- Chief Priests and Scribes question Jesus' authority.

- The Parable of the Tenants. Vineyard leased to farmers who mistreat the Owner's messengers to get the Owner's part of the crop. Eventually the farmers (tenants) mistreat the Son. Owner's response is to take the vineyard from those tenants and give it to others.

- The Stone which the builders rejected has become the cornerstone.

- The Scribes and Chief Priests want to arrest Jesus - they know the vineyard/tenant parable was against them - but they are afraid of the people.

- They try to trick Jesus in His teaching by sending spies who appear righteous.

- Is it right to pay taxes? Jesus response, "Give to Caesar the things that are Caesar's, and to God the things that are God's."

- The Sadducees are next. They don't believe in a resurrection. Seven brothers who in turn marry the same woman and then die, none of them leaving a child. Whose wife will she be in Heaven?

- Jesus' answer, "The children of this age marry and are given in marriage. But those who are counted worthy to take part in that age and in the resurrection from the dead neither marry nor are given in marriage....they are like angels and are children of God, since they are children of the resurrection."

- Jesus tells them that God showed there is a resurrection when he said to Moses at the burning bush, "the God of Abraham and the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob." Not the God of the dead but of the living.

- At the end of the chapter Jesus warns the people about the Scribes. They love their prestige but neglect justice. These will receive a harsher judgement.

"Like angels and are children of God." I want that! I want to be worthy to take part in that age. I want to hold on to Jesus all my days.

Re: Christian Chat

Hi there @heartathome ,

Thanks for missing me. I was out yesterday and did the grocery shopping plus some gardening before I went. I was tired when I got home. I looked at the Forum but I was too tired to think of what to say.

I don't stay up for new year's eve but someone close to where I live, I think my neighbour, let off fireworks so I was briefly awake at midnight. 😴 Could hear distant cheers of people welcoming the new year.

Did you stay up? I read about the clouds ruining your sunset photo earlier in the evening.

Wishing you the best possible 2026! You're such a beautiful person.

Re: Christian Chat

Hi @ENKELI ,

How'd you go with New Year's Eve? Did you stay up? I went to bed at my usual time - I'm not much in to New Year's Eve or the fireworks.

I'm sorry you were spending it alone when it's important to you to have someone there. Was the Forum able to fill the gap a little?

You're in my prayers.
