Christian Chat

Christian Chat

Hi my friends, this is Bella here, I thought how nice & lovely to have a Thread for Christians. I am not talking about Religion, GOD is Love, GOD gives free will to us all in the world. I have a relationship with GOD through HIS Word-The Bible, most of my life. I became a Pentecostal Christian many years ago. Would you like to come join me here in this Thread?

I am excited about starting it, you can just sit relax, chat about your love, for GOD & JESUS. Or post encouragement for others. Support, or be supported with Prayer. Hey, would you like to, Praise & post links to Praise & Worship music? Stories, or experiences, poetry, fun things to help us have a giggle, lovely pictures, photos, there are so many things you can post & chat about that will Bless & Build us up in The LORD! Life is about giving, loving, healing flows from a loving heart, whom purely wants to- just give!

I hope & pray, you will receive, Peace, Love, & JOY!... & healing in your heart! Amen xo <>< Bella 🙂

Re: Christian Chat

"- The day of the Son of Man will be like lightning flashing across the sky. It will be sudden and unexpected. Don't go back to get your things."

So true @Realness that the Kingdom is within you, and so is the Coming of Christ. The sad truth of my life in sin is that Jesus already Came for me 29 years ago. But i betrayed Him for a kiss and thirty pieces of silver, and it has taken me all these years to not try and take myself in sin along to Heaven. To be truthful i still often struggling there, to leave my life in old behind forever - EVERYTHING - so Jesus can make ALL things NEW in, and for me.

This has been the hardest thing to do depressed rock bottom. To have faith God loved me the worm i believed myself to be depressed, not realising Jesus was Down there being crucified as well. (Psalm 22:6-7)

So glad His Truth court up with me Down there and i finally began to realise what the reason was of my lowest lows, not to suffer meaninglessly down there, but meet Him in His death for me. For Jesus wanted to save me the depressed person i had been so often as well. Even in particular so, for, as He told me, all the last in my life WILL be first from now on, even as all that was first my life of sin was placed last so it can pass away.

Talk about His righteous judgements!🎉

Oh Come, Glorious Judgement!

Judgement Day begins when you meet up with Jesus,
He will search out your dwelling place completely,
His Words dividing you the sheep from those goats!

He will address your inner lovelessness with His love,
and chase the clinging coldness in your heart away,
from death and decay setting your soul completely free!

Truly Judgement Day, is a day of living ecstatic joy,
new life for all those in you hurting or killed by lies
Only His Loving Truth ruling your inner reality now.

Bad religion shall no longer cause you any bother,
As His loving joy growing in you finds deeper root,
lush growth in newness of life replacing deadness!

Yet Judgement Day will be the end of all your fears,
As no terror can ever travel on The Way to Heaven.
All divided you in complete union, praising the Lamb!

Your big I, gets new function at the rear of existence
while loving Jesus ruling as king is put in first place!
You loving our Heavenly Father with all your heart.

In all your life's deeds The Son of God you'll meet,
Answerable for all you have brought into existence,
In good and bad His loving truth visiting you within!

Judgement Day is about being rightly placed by God,
all good and loving dwelling within upfront - to B(b)e.
bad life shaping us the shadows of night - passing away!

Our Lord is so very good isn't He? Hoping you bump into Him Today, wherever life takes you, and the wonderful peace that is beyond understanding brings you God's Sabbath Today and forever.

(Oh i slept MORE than 6 hours all up last night. So pleased to see this.)

Re: Christian Chat

Thank you for your thoughtfulness and reflective response to me @Realness

Yes I read Janet Frame about 20 years ago and found it very worthwhile.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Owls_Do_Cry

In the 1980s, I did a thesis on 3 American poets, including Sylvia Plath.

I have a lot of survivor literature, including Mary Barnes and Joseph Berke

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mary_Barnes_(artist)

including RD Laing, Thomas Szasz and more recently

https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/3241998-psychotherapy-and-the-quest-for-happiness

and Sid Bloch's book and Anne Deveney's book.

Sorry, to those only focussed on the bible, I do believe we need to read more widely as well. Anyway went to church this morning. Did my best to be positive and genuine, but not sure how things will pan out...

Re: Christian Chat

Thanks for sharing @DownMoreThanUp I can imagine you've come a long way from 29 years ago! You are very knowledgeable about the Bible. I'm glad you have a voice and can share your thoughts. I always get something out of them as I do with the summaries from @Realness!

This morning at church, I realised that most of my attention has been on getting eternal life and not on Jesus, himself. I'm not surprised this has come up. I feel like a failure but know that's why Jesus came. I'm okay. I'm trusting God! I am grateful that I have you 'guys' walking with me and appreciate all of you @REDLINEZ750 @ENKELI @Appleblossom 💛

Go gentle with yourself on learning different theological insights @heartathome there are many roads to Rome.

Re: Christian Chat

@Appleblossom ,

Have you read Proust and A Course In Miracles?

Both very dense. Genius in both.

Re: Christian Chat

Yes, I have read In Search of Lost Time by Proust. After Earth Science I did a Literature major.

@Realness

a friend is really keen on the Course in miracles, but she is driving me spare by telling me dozens of times, "Its a miracle" when the light turns green...I am trying to laugh at it... but I have too many dead people, so want a bit more realism, not the ridiculous.

I have got

and a theology section.

This is all the theology I need, a busker from Newcastle can rip into your soul with notes like this is angelic.

What if the cure for cancer laid in the mind of a child that was denied education for poverty?

The sickwould be again deprived happiness for the greed of the wealthy

Re: Christian Chat

@REDLINEZ750 Thanks sharing our down syndrome daughter will love it. i will let her listen when she comes for a drink. It is one of her most favourite songs. She learned the song from one of her Shrek movies and therefore always relates faith with fiction listening to it.

(i heard some say it took the author Leonard Cohen 5 years to write the lyrics of this song. While he himself says it was 2 years. Anyhow many wonder about this secret chord right he is on about (For Cohen loves cryptic language?))

Love that kind of stuff.😁 https://www.youtube.com/shorts/JPKceUGoJks

Cute as! (She is singing Hallelujah even now!)

Re: Christian Chat

@heartathome ,

Your humility amazes me. Your gentle 'Jesus' messages all through this forum (not just this Christian thread) are incredible. You are able to write quickly and give people a timely reply. They are poetic and yet straight to the point. Jesus walks this Forum through you.

Re: Christian Chat

Hi @Realness You are more than enough as you are! That could be taken the wrong way, so I'll tell you that I mean that in the best way possible! 😊

When you're ready Realness. I will be with you in Spirit! I love that you would give me a summary of the first part of your story. My memory isn't good (since trauma four years ago), and my mind is foggy at the moment.

I hope you're taking care of yourself and resting after Christmas. 💛
