Christian Chat

Hi my friends, this is Bella here, I thought how nice & lovely to have a Thread for Christians. I am not talking about Religion, GOD is Love, GOD gives free will to us all in the world. I have a relationship with GOD through HIS Word-The Bible, most of my life. I became a Pentecostal Christian many years ago. Would you like to come join me here in this Thread?

I am excited about starting it, you can just sit relax, chat about your love, for GOD & JESUS. Or post encouragement for others. Support, or be supported with Prayer. Hey, would you like to, Praise & post links to Praise & Worship music? Stories, or experiences, poetry, fun things to help us have a giggle, lovely pictures, photos, there are so many things you can post & chat about that will Bless & Build us up in The LORD! Life is about giving, loving, healing flows from a loving heart, whom purely wants to- just give!

I hope & pray, you will receive, Peace, Love, & JOY!... & healing in your heart! Amen xo <>< Bella 🙂

Re: Christian Chat

Welcome back @Realness Sounds like you did really well, and it was a good day!

My day wasn't as bad as I thought. It was actually nice, but I felt pretty exhausted from socialising when I got home! I lasted three and a half hours. Good for me! I know we celebrate the birth of Christ, but Christmas day is still so hard when you're alone. Anyway, it's over and done with! Now it's just the influx of holiday makers for the next ...what is it, six weeks? 😄💛

Re: Christian Chat

Hi @heartathome ,

Sorry for my slow response. I didn't get much sleep last night and my brain is moving very slowly today. I saw you also had difficulty sleeping last night.

Three and a half hours of socialising is exhausting. There's a pressure that comes with Christmas that is exhausting. Alone or surrounded with people there always seems to be the pressure.

You must live in a beautiful spot if there's now six weeks of holiday makers. Hope they don't ruin the peace of the place too much.

Hi @REDLINEZ750 ,

Thanks for the welcome!

We have met before - you were really helpful with someone who had just broken up with their boyfriend on a different thread. It was a couple of months ago now I think.

Don't worry I don't think I'm easily upset.

Looking forward to getting to know you better.

Re: Christian Chat

Hi @DownMoreThanUp ,

How you doing? Are you still doing as well as you were before Christmas?

I was sitting at the dinner table at Christmas without much to contribute to the conversation. I am the only one to read the Bible or who has spent time going to church. Somehow from young my family role is to be the quiet one. Anyway, I thought about our group here and you. Not sure how your family celebrates Christmas but I'm sure Jesus gets a mention at your home. As I sat there I looked forward to being back on the forum.

Re: Christian Chat

I had some beautiful moments and painful moments yesterday. Grateful for the good.

Went with the flow of who was in my orbit: irl and online. There was a little more good connection in both. More than in the last 20 years. Still pretty quiet, so thats not saying a lot for th last 20 yars.

lol... am i depersonalising in that I often treat myself as an objust, or is it just cos most people did that all the time, as everytime I reached out or expressed from my vulnerability, I got rejected. So much Brene brown.

We all got through it. Its also my mother's anniversary which was probably a bit NPD of her, wanting to sabotage Christmas for others. Anyway the palliative care social worker noted it.

Today I cooked what we were going to have Christmas Day, so we are fine on the food front. Son drove to the plaza at my request, but no parking and crazy traffic, so I accepted him calling it off and coming back home.

Re: Christian Chat

@Realness i've had a rather relaxed Christmas. Our son and his three children and His partner and son came fro Christmas. It is always fun catching up with him. We have not seen him much for he has been very busy but he is still the one we see the most.

Our younger daughter was supposed to come as well with her seven children but she and her children fell ill. (bad flu going around) She been in bed all of Christmas and so were 5 of her children and her husband and two grand kids were recuperating from being sick before. The other one is on holidays with her family.

@Appleblossom @heartathome @REDLINEZ750 @AuntGlow

Our past foster son rang up. He is out of jail and in a two way house at the moment. Struggling to keep his nose clean. Yet he now faithfully calls mea weekly, if not twice weekly,. He was rather depressed on Christmas for he had been promised a phone call with his two sons. But they lied to him about that.

His sons who have been taken of him already when they were born, and he has not spoken to in almost 12 months. i could understand he was caning that. And also him thinking he might of well let the government look after him in jail, or end his hurting existence.

We talked for more than a hour. And although it is like pulling teeth he is opening up about issues that need to be raised. Like counselling, medications, and rehabilitation. He is keen enough, but the system is to rigid to be able to cope i reckon. They hold him down instead of raise him up..

i hope and pray he stays out long enough for us to catch up. Four years probation is a long time. He can't wait till get out of the State.

So all in all Christmas was good. And i'm doing better every day. Apart of sleep and some nausea spells, i have had no voices, psychosis, hallucinations, or anxiety nor depression. It really feels like Jesus is going to heal me all the way.👍

Going out for lunch tomorrow! That should be fun.
