Christian Chat

Hi my friends, this is Bella here, I thought how nice & lovely to have a Thread for Christians. I am not talking about Religion, GOD is Love, GOD gives free will to us all in the world. I have a relationship with GOD through HIS Word-The Bible, most of my life. I became a Pentecostal Christian many years ago. Would you like to come join me here in this Thread?

I am excited about starting it, you can just sit relax, chat about your love, for GOD & JESUS. Or post encouragement for others. Support, or be supported with Prayer. Hey, would you like to, Praise & post links to Praise & Worship music? Stories, or experiences, poetry, fun things to help us have a giggle, lovely pictures, photos, there are so many things you can post & chat about that will Bless & Build us up in The LORD! Life is about giving, loving, healing flows from a loving heart, whom purely wants to- just give!

I hope & pray, you will receive, Peace, Love, & JOY!... & healing in your heart! Amen xo <>< Bella 🙂

Re: Christian Chat

I didn't think about Christmas being the reason I'm feeling a bit down and agitated at the moment. I'm trying not to think about it, but I better pull my head out and get ready! I'm only doing the lunch thing, but I might be bringing my partner back with me (if he's there).

I really hope you can enjoy the socialisation over the next couple of days @Realness I'll be on early tomorrow morning and sometime in the afternoon/ night. Bless you! 💛

Hi @AuntGlow ,

I'm not sure about the others but I won't be attending a mass tonight. Will you be attending one? It does sound nice.

Re: Christian Chat

@heartathome @Realness i was snooping on your conversation together, i hope you do not mind.

@heartathome i used to feel just like you reading the Bible. It would always convict me, and demand i do more things for god before he be happy with me. Some parts of The bible i literally hated to read because of that.

However when Jesus was revealed in His love over me! And i knew once and for all that God only ever loves, and that the whole Bible is a love letter to the captives, and those mourning, or hurting, life down here. No matter how sinful you have become!

So after that The Spirit taught me to read the Word only in The Spirit of love - and only to my own inner world of being. Reading The Word in Love for God, myself, and for others like He loves me. Unbelievable what a change reading the bible after that.

As a matter of fact any forceful feelings or thoughts demanding we do this or that ends up being banned in our life. Replaced by the loving self control we inherit in The Spirit, after we have dropped ourselves in our weaknesses at His feet. (The Seven overcomings signify this.)

So if you feel bad for what you have done or should have done The bible ALIVE inside is the answer you are seeking. For in Him we can do anything but without Him we can do nothing.

You know when you are reading The word in The Holy Spirit, for then God bcomes your darling ABBA/Daddy to you, while reading the Bible with a guilty conscience, makes god a fearful dragon, accusing us of wrong, slamming laws and regulations down on us, and demanding we fix ourselves, or else! As if Jesus has NOT paid the price, we still have to pay!

So do be of good courage dear sister. For the Holy Spirit will only ever convict us of sin or wrong. He never accuse us or make us feel bad! Rather He lovingly take us by the hand and brings us to Jesus. Where The Blood washes us clean time and again. Such is Supping/Dining with Jesus all about as you already know at other times in your heart.

So if you feel accused about ANYTHING it is ALWAYS satan playing god but never our Heavenly Father or our Lord Jesus Christ. It does mean you need to catch up with Jesus to cleanse you of a guilty conscience.

When we love Jesus for forgiveness we stop sinning in The end voluntarily, for love does not want to harm, hurt or do wrong, i found, but when we fear God because we sinned, our sin always keeps on going, or we replace one sin with another, no matter how hard we try to stop that.

i hope this will help you reading The bible. That sure has happened in my life. It is the book i read basically soley, and have read for the last 21 years. (Apart of 2 novels by Francis Rivers. 'Sin eater' and 'Redeeming Love' no other books interest me any longer. 🤣) Nothing beats having The word speak to us from within through those pages in front of us i reckon.

Those Who Mourn Him. (Revelation 1:1-8)
When bad life wrings our hurting soul, (Revelation 9:3-19)
such must bite the dust prepared for all, (Revelation 19:11-21)
who had us think a lie does us little harm, (Revelation 20:11-15)
us unaware all wrong will our bad life farm. (Revelation 17:6)

For the painful lesson all believers learn, (Revelation 9)
is that doing wrong will us bad life earn. (Revelation 2:20-23)
Where only through God's grace, we may, (Revelation 7:1-8)
love all that accumulated bad life away. (Revelation 7:9-17)

Where suffering for good brings on the flood, (Revelation 12:13-17)
our life in wrong flowing the river of His blood, (Revelation 14:14-20)
For only then we know that on Christ's great Day, (Revelation 6:17)
we will celebrate God's grace and love for aye. (Revelation 21:1-7)

SHUT UPPA YOUR FACE!!!Once The Accuser dies fear turns to dedicated love.Any finger pointing at you hasn't got a clue!

Re: Christian Chat

@AuntGlow I used to Christmas Eve a lot, as a child with European family and when I was in Catholic church. Nowadays, I just do a low key quiet Christmas Day, with just a little bit special.

But am upset cos my local IGA isnt stocking Kombucha, and thats our party drink cos we dont do alcohol. Too much coke and not enuff good stuff. So we will put up with OJ, Coconut water and Sarsparella!

@Realness I joke and say I was a tax collector and a Magdalene so thats why Jesus hangs out with me.

@DownMoreThanUp @heartathome I am nerdy about language and unpack the concept of "convict" and "conviction", and the multiple meanings. UP until recently I used to feel unAustralian cos I didnt know I had convict Royalty in our family. But now I know we do, I even know the name of the ship.... etc etc ...

What is passion? What is Belief? What is Faith?

I take a different slant cos I have seen too much passionate argy bargy about who is right and who is wrong, so I see THE GOOD PATH as trying to find a path through it rather than getting too uphet about nitpicking stuff.

I dont believe we should interpret the bible in ways that wound, or cripple us or make us feel less able to do what is right. As the inspired word of God, its purpose to me, is to bring out the best in us, and not do old testament fire and brimstone shaming or blaming.

Hope you all have ..."manageable" day ... love it Realness, it felt very apropo.

God Bless

Aww @DownMoreThanUp Thank you for sharing your thoughts on this. I can't do anything but agree with you! I want to acknowledge the verses and pictures. It looks like you've gone to a lot of trouble looking up verses and finding appropriate pictures! I appreciate that! I like the first picture! The accuser is silenced!

It does mean you need to catch up with Jesus 100% true but will I...

I'm grateful you're here! 💛

Re: Christian Chat

The questions are far too big for me @Appleblossom.

not do old testament fire and brimstone shaming or blaming. I was brought up with fire and brimstone, and the Pentecostal cult I was involved in very much focused on satan. I don't like to give him that much attention.

I respect your honesty with me. I hope I show respect to everyone's belief, whether we believe the same thing or not (as you have) 💛

Re: Christian Chat

Yes. Beliefs can really vary even among Christians. @heartathome I am just opening up my thoughts not really coming down strong in any way. The style I grew up with was very much "mea culpa mea culpa" and "I am unworthy for you to enter", so although I may try and find more healthy productive ways forward, that message was drilled in hard, that it is unconcsious and where I often revert back to.

Gentle Hugs

Re: Christian Chat

@heartathome chuch tomorrow sounds lovely!

I won't be here tomorrow, but I will be back around the 7th. 💛

@Realness, no I won't be attending a mass, but I used to when I was younger, with my mum. ☺️

@Appleblossom a low key Christmas sounds really wholesome and probably exactly what your nervous system is needing. 🥰
