Christian Chat

Hi my friends, this is Bella here, I thought how nice & lovely to have a Thread for Christians. I am not talking about Religion, GOD is Love, GOD gives free will to us all in the world. I have a relationship with GOD through HIS Word-The Bible, most of my life. I became a Pentecostal Christian many years ago. Would you like to come join me here in this Thread?

I am excited about starting it, you can just sit relax, chat about your love, for GOD & JESUS. Or post encouragement for others. Support, or be supported with Prayer. Hey, would you like to, Praise & post links to Praise & Worship music? Stories, or experiences, poetry, fun things to help us have a giggle, lovely pictures, photos, there are so many things you can post & chat about that will Bless & Build us up in The LORD! Life is about giving, loving, healing flows from a loving heart, whom purely wants to- just give!

I hope & pray, you will receive, Peace, Love, & JOY!... & healing in your heart! Amen xo <>< Bella 🙂

@DownMoreThanUp my dear brother, your post was like balm to my wounds. How great it is that these spirits can be banished simply by rebuking in Jesus' name. My prison was in not knowing I was afflicted with the spirit of rejection until I humbled myself and really listened to God.

And it is in part thanks to you, @Realness and @heartathome and your posts that I was shown this spirit.

I am at peace. The Enemy is still trying to dampen this peace but God is stronger.

Happy Christmas Eve my friends 🎄

You're in my prayers as always 🙏 ❤️

@ENKELI My heart rejoices hearing you speak these words. The love of The Father is worth suffering for! His Love is truly out of this World! And there is nothing better than to trample your enemies underneath the soles of your feet. Humbly sitting in front of Jesus teach, learning get to know Him fully in His love over you, no longer like Martha to be.

Talking about pure Ecstasy and no other substance needed than Eating The Fruit of The Tree of Life instead of right and wrong!

If the food you dine on makes your heart ill you are not Dining on your Father's Will.

You're pretty early yourself sis! A Good Morning to you.

Saved a Sinner
Many are abhorred about my sins!
Surely they are red like scarlet!
All my life I endeavoured to stop sinning,
but I failed doing so miserably!
I know I'm a sinner at heart.

I called out to Jesus to save me from my sins
He said I stand at the door and knock
Dining with Jesus having a good time
complete forgiveness His love to be.
To behold The Apple of God's Eye.

How is this even possible you may wonder?
A sinner saved by faith in His Grace alone?
Completely confidant all the evil will die
and lost good life will be raised up again
The Coming of His Awesome Day!

Let the wicked be wicked still, they don't change.
But let us the righteous be righteous still!
Be The Chosen elected before time began
Us Being Father's True Offspring Down Here.
Where without exclusion makes One All in All.

Re: Christian Chat

Hi @heartathome , @DownMoreThanUp , @Appleblossom , @ENKELI ,

Luke 15 today.

- Tax collectors and "sinners" crowding around Jesus

- The religious ones muttering, "Look at who Jesus mixes with!"

- Jesus responds with three parables.

- Parable of the Lost Sheep - the Shepherd leaves the ninety nine to find the one that is missing - more joy in heaven over one sinner that repents than ninety-nine who have no need of repentance.

- Parable of the Lost Coin - all of the woman's attention is on finding the lost coin - God's angels are happy when even one person repents.

- Parable of the Lost Son - While the son was still a long way off, his Father saw him and was filled with compassion. He ran, threw his arms around his neck, and kissed him.

- Older son not happy - Father tells him, "You are always with me, and everything I have is yours. But we had to celebrate and rejoice, because this brother of yours was dead and is alive again, was lost and is found."

I love the image of our Heavenly Father looking out for each lost child from a long way off. I might be wrong but I don't think we're meant to identify with the 99, 9 or older son. None of us is that good. We all miss God's way in many ways and need His constant forgiveness. To be self-righteous and/or unforgiving of others is also to be lost. The moment of being found and forgiven is ongoing and meant to stay fresh.

Re: Christian Chat

Thank you @Realness

I know there is so much in the parables that I don't see!

Each time I read the Bible, it convicts me to the point of me feeling really bad about myself. I think that's why I struggle so much to read the Word.

I don't repent unless it's something I see in me or remember someone I've hurt. I know I'm a sinner, but I don't repent every day.

I hope no one thinks less of me but I'm going to be honest. I always doubt my salvation but know it since seeing it in black and white! Maybe I'm living my life my own way. I hope God can hold onto me! 💛

Re: Christian Chat

Hi @heartathome ,

Thanks for your honest reply.

God's forgiveness in Jesus Is complete and covers everything past, present and future.

God just looks for the Holy Spirit / faith in His Son. You've got that. You've got everything Jesus wants.

It's not about daily conscious repentance. We're meant to feel secure in God's grace.

Of course God can hold on to you - He loves you to bits.

Sorry if my comments were confusing or misleading. I just think the 99, 9, and older son may also represent the Pharisees who were confident in their own righteousness. And identifying too much with that group may be making the same mistake.

Hi @heartathome , @DownMoreThanUp ,

It's getting close to Christmas Day and those big family dos.

I'm breathing deeply and preparing myself. How about you?

We will be driving about three hours to the function tomorrow and possibly/probably sleeping over. It may be a long time of intense socialising.

To everyone on this thread I wish you a manageable day tomorrow.

Re: Christian Chat

Our bible study recently studied the parable of the lost son, and I struggled with it. I would kinda feel p****d off too if I was the older brother!

My mother was a self-righteous Christian! Hmm. I hope I'm not like her! Something to think about.

When I knew it was about repentance and being welcomed into God's kingdom, I felt ashamed of myself. That's what I love about bible study. It gets me thinking about things! That's what I love about your bible readings too. Thank you @Realness ! 💛
