@DownMoreThanUp

I thought of you when I read "I will make you fishers of men". I don't know why I didn't mention it in the summary. Good pick up.

When I read about the big catches of fish and also the time Jesus tells Peter to fish for the Temple tax ( the first fish you catch will have the coin in its mouth) I wonder about Jesus' relationship with the animal world. Were the fish commanded or were they drawn to Jesus like we are hence the big catch. The God part of Him knowing or having access to every detail on this earth.

Re: Christian Chat

@Realness Yes it really makes you ponder on our Lord saying I AM The TRUTH, THE LIFE, THE LIGHT. Don't you reckon?

(Spiritually the Temple tax our conscience demanding we pay before God will have mercy on us. The catching of the fish on the way to the Temple shows us that Jesus/LIFE has paid the price already. All GOOD and so His mercy grants Christ's life as the temple to worship God with our heart!)

For every time we see Jesus at work, we see truth at work in real life and giving life so much more meaning. This i how His truth ALWAYS works.

Our Heavenly Father is ALL reality. This is why ALL have to obey Him! For He is The Truth of Life everywhere no matter what we in FALLEN life think about that.

@heartathome @ENKELI @Ru-bee @Appleblossom

Such is God's witness through our Lord Jesus! His Truth not only ruling our life, but also bringing meaning and purpose at the same time.

Re: Christian Chat

@Realness So true that ALL people are God's Creation to start of with. (Psalm 139:13-16, Acts 17:28).

@heartathome @ENKELI @Ru-bee @Appleblossom

However the lies ruling us down here court us all! Only Jesus escaped them pure, none of us do, or can do that. For once a true design has a lie in it, its design is not true any more. We cannot trust our thoughts or feelings to tell us right therefore and have to trust The word of God instead of Babylon 😁 ruling us our lives down here.

(WARNING:🤣 Using calming medications to try and get some sleep has put me back in my other alter this morning.😍)

Faith in God's grace has been my biggest challenge, and with many of you as well i'm sure. To trust in God's loving grace, knowing we stuffed it, deep down depressed, surrounded by accusing voices, is a hell of a wa to be told you have been wrong dining on the dung from those dung heaps all around.😝

Yet that place is the jail the wicked ought to be in (Rev 2:1-3, 😎 , not me i realised when the truth came around, and so i my faithful to Jesus self i let God's word bring me out of my pit, and He taught me to trust Him in all my alters.

( @Moose123 Not sure if you still come past at times my dear friend, but i thought this might be relevant to you as well.)

Nevertheless for me it is hard to trust God loves me having faith in Jesus, for all i have on show is sin and misery. In me this was sure the case. i had hated God's truth in me, constantly sabotaged myself in my other alters in my hate, had raged at God, myself, my loved ones, even my brothers and sisters at Church, and now i had to trust Jesus cared about me having done all that. Sweat and blood let me tell you. (My old life as such sure flies me in the face now, even as Jesus sets me free from the wicked who made me to be like that.)

Have i needed Jesus to be able to do that!!! 21-22 years of seeing Him save me in my other alters, and myself unable to be different than seeing myself psychotically destroy everything raging. So glad He brought me to my senses and set me fee in His love to heal.

So glad i'm allowed to be me. So humbled Jesus would love even me.

(i have prayed this on my bare knees many a time let me assure you. Like we have all in our own way i'm sure!)

I think the hardest thing I struggle with is seeing the people who have harmed me prosper. They don't have financial struggles, they don't have health problems, they have plenty of friends. No matter how I try to remember not to store my riches on earth, am I supposed to suffer while I wait to be called home?

I also wonder what exactly my purpose here is. Why I was born, why God chose me to afflict with the father He gave me, the poverty in childhood, the bad teeth and again no money as a 57 year old.

Yet I know I should be thankful and feel blessed.

Off to get my teefs done, I hope Friday is treating you all well xo

Re: Christian Chat

@ENKELI See God never wanted people sinning and being unloving and foolish down here. He created us in His image! It is satan who caused all this to happen. It is the devil who rules with his lies everywhere. This is how he brought you bad life STEALING our GOOD LIFE and giving it to those who do as he is inside the untrue people he has made them to be. When we are overcome by lies we are always his victims and will end up hurting that. What that concerns thank God you are on the usffering, and not the doing the more hurting others side. Sadly so many give their precious life away to satan. Yet we all know what happens when you do that.

Honest!

@Realness @heartathome @Ru-bee @Appleblossom @Moose123 @avant-garde

It is all in the bible. The Prophet Habakkuk speaks about this at length with God. Also Daniel 11:36-39 show us how the devil works in those he rules inside their hearts. The creep gives them all the riches he keeps from us. This is why for us victims it is so important to let go of the bad life the wicked through other fallen people have brought us. Get the names of fallen people of their crimes and put the wicked in their place, to hurt their bad life, that is how bad life inside dies, and Christ's good life takes over inside of us. i know you do not want to fall in the hands of God inflicting hurt to life maliciously or purposefully. Such burns God's eternal flame no matter what heart it did its evil in. There is no grace for the wicked living inside of people only a pool of His lovely fire of love over us burning them their misdeeds done to us and in us.

It has been so very good to suffer bad life with Jesus and get to know Him as The Greatest Victim of us all! For it is not that God does not care! Rather bad life keeps us from even seeing or understanding Him, the wicked made sure. In Jesus we are ALL totally innocent of any wrong, you will see. And Jesus never had any problem me raging at the wicked, as a matter of fact it served a really good purpose, so much pressure within was released this way. So please dare to be! And eat His grace by the bucket loads when you fail Him.

Jesus showed me all this in my pit after i raged at God all my painful questions, accusations against His justice, rages and injustices of life down here.

However do we want freedom from this, or do we want to overcome this. Get Jesus down here placing our bad life in His hands to turn to good life. He is sure doing that for me and my wife the last years. Faster and faster are His blessings on us coming down. This is for all who love Jesus and let go of their bad life and accept the life of Jesus instead.

For can you see dear sister how the pain of bad life chains you to it? How constantly you see yourself and people doing it wrong fuelling that inner misery? That is how it went for me. Trampled by war horses and stung by scorpions Jesus explained to me about that. The wicked trying their hardest keeping our good life in Jesus from us holding onto our bad life. i call it the victim mentality spirit, which always brings us our trauma memories, but never heals them, only hurts us with it. And then has us lass out at ourselves or others.

At least that is how that was always for me holding onto the bad things that happened to me. Now i know that is why satan has bad life happen to us. For otherwise we cross the line in no time for we want to love and do right in our true selves, so through the hurts of our bad life he chains us to him anyhow.

i hope that made some sense. Recompense is awaiting the wicked though, we want people to be saved from their bad life, like He does us though. The wrath of God is a pool of fire so bad life can burn us God's praises. God's good creation does not belong in that. Especially not His image offspring. God hates it when we burn our offspring to our idols, we best be assured of that. Jeremiah 7:30-31

Had a good day otherwise so far? My been okay. Not as happy as i started but hopefully i catch up.

Re: Christian Chat

Hi @ENKELI ,

I loved your last post. The realness and honesty of it.

Why are those people prospering? What is God's purpose for you?

Are you meant to suffer while you wait to be called home?

I'm a tiny bit younger than you and also poor. I found Jesus when I was 18.

Your post made me think of the upside-down-ness of Jesus. To be first one has to serve. To be the greatest one has to be the slave of all.

The poor are rich and the rich are poor.

The spiritual blessings are more from suffering than life going smoothly.

To be obedient and give generously to the church and the poor one often ends up poor.

Life almost always is God's plan B. God working around flawed human beings the whole time.

It is no wonder that Christians look up to God and wonder why?

Re: Christian Chat

Thanks @Realness, and I love your response. Most days I count my blessings (I am blessed with optimism and am very thankful for that!) but then I see my ex who cheated on me, went on to get married (and divorced) his mother passed and left him enough money that he could retire before he hit 60 and I am having to borrow money just to see the dentist.
My ex best friend - I supported her through her divorce, she thanked me for bringing her back to Jesus. God placed on my heart to pay for her kids (my Godchildren) to go to a modest private Christian school attached to our church. I was lucky to be able to afford to do that at the time. I gave up my house to move in with her and support her financially and emotionally. After 8 years she decided she no longer needed me and cut me out of her life as well as that of my Godchildren. And I had a very lousy tenant (my very lazy brother) who let the house almost fall down around his ears so I am spending money I don't have to repair my little home. Why did God allow me to give everything I had only to have with no benefit? I always believed that giving everything away would result in great blessings - I am still waiting.

But, I am blessed. I have a house and a car. I was able to borrow money to get my car air conditioning fixed - air con in Perth is a must in summer! - and I was able to get some of my dental work done.

I am blessed, I have internet and can access the Sane forums and chat with amazing people such as yourself.

I see where my father ended up. He emotionally and physically abused my mother, physically abused my brother, emotionally abused myself and my sisters and while he had a lot of money his ex wife (aka Stepmonster) screwed him out of it and left him with a quarter of what he was worth. Not that it matters now as he is in a nursing home, bedridden on oxygen and very frail. He is in NSW so I haven't seen him in many years and he never returns my emails or messages. I would not want his life so I am thankful for that.

I just keep hoping that God will be merciful and my life will improve.

Re: Christian Chat

@ENKELI @Realness So true that the hurts bad life down here brought us stinks inside of us, and keeps hurting us, each time such deeds come to mind.

To be honest for me only when i realised that this is what i had been doing to Jesus blaming Him for my bad life, as if God was guilty of wrong, and not the person overcome by the evil who did it. And yet i keep blaming God for my misfortunes. Does all life not suffer the wicked? So how can God as The Life being hurt be guilty of suffering it then? (Isaiah 53)

A really good movie about this is called 'The shack'. (free to watch on youtube.) i loved it and fully agree with how how the film makers portrayed how God looks at His fallen children.

For i know very well that is how satan managed to hurt me for so long. I kept judging others for what the wicked had done to me using the sins and shortcomings of fallen people. And so bad deeds that happened 60 and 54 years ago, and had me thinking and feeling God had done that this to me. Thus i kept the love of Jesus from me hurting the bad life believing such awful lies about Him, hurting myself and Him doing so, and that is why the pain would never heal, unti li let go of those painful lies ruling.

Do you also find that suffering bad life done in your life? How ALL mean and bad deeds of others and ourselves, keep happening, and happening, over, and over again, without that really being so, and yet we suffer it like it does, especially when we let it overcome us. Where often we blindly hurt other people with our hurt, even our loved ones? It was sure turned out liker that in my life not letting go of my bad life but blaming God, myself and other people for it.

That is crappy satan for you, i found out to be true the hard way. Today i know my sufferings have nothing to do with God, He NEVER wanted any bad life for ANY of us, let me assure you. Rather He suffers all bad life, The Life, right along with us. Just as Jesus shows us on the cross.

If you can stomach it i highly recommend watching it. For even although it triggered me a few times, and i had to watch over multiple sessions, i got a lot out of it. The movie is very controversial in some eyes, but i thought it was well done after i finished watching it. My wife watched to multiple times, that is how impressed she was with it.

Thank about my dear sisters we cannot take our bad life into Heaven. Jesus will deliver us One Day, best now and not tomorrow when it comes to that i reckon

Blessings pondering this

Re: Christian Chat

Hi @DownMoreThanUp just wanted to err on the side of caution, so I have removed the youtube link. Just in case someone came across it, didn't read the context or trigger warning you gave, and got more than they bargained for. This way, anyone can still watch it since it's freely available on youtube, but they'd have to intentionally go looking for it instead of stumbling upon something potentially triggering accidentally.

Let me know if you have any concerns!

In response to: Re: Christian Chat

Re: Christian Chat

@Jynx Thanks for letting me know i was not sure how to go about that.

@ENKELI @Realness @heartathome

This is why i gave the warning and left it up to you mods behind the scene. ( i hope that is okay?) So no worries at all. At times i find it still hard to know what is acceptable, and what is not.

i reckon tthis movie could serve as a really good movie for victims to see their sufferings from a different perspective, and beside God instead of because of God, but they have to be able to be confronted with a portrayal of some pretty bad life. i watched it with my wife at the time. So that helped when i was triggered. (Which happened already for the first time within minutes of watching.)

Yet it was very productive for me struggling with my bad life in the end, and i was thankful i endured watching it to the end. That is why i mentioned it.

Peace.
