Christian Chat

Hi my friends, this is Bella here, I thought how nice & lovely to have a Thread for Christians. I am not talking about Religion, GOD is Love, GOD gives free will to us all in the world. I have a relationship with GOD through HIS Word-The Bible, most of my life. I became a Pentecostal Christian many years ago. Would you like to come join me here in this Thread?

Hey, would you like to, Praise & post links to Praise & Worship music? Stories, or experiences, poetry, fun things to help us have a giggle, lovely pictures, photos, there are so many things you can post & chat about that will Bless & Build us up in The LORD! Life is about giving, loving, healing flows from a loving heart, whom purely wants to- just give!

I hope & pray, you will receive, Peace, Love, & JOY!... & healing in your heart! Amen xo <>< Bella 🙂

Friends lets celebrate our unity in Christ! Absolutely @DownMoreThanUp . I liked the poem Fellowship in Christ! It's a good reminder of what's important! I think praying for and supporting each other makes God happy. Thanks for the tag! 💛

Hi @heartathome , @DownMoreThanUp

Luke 4 today but I'm only going to mention the beginning section.

Jesus just baptised, full of the Holy Spirit, is led by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil.

40 days. No food. And I suspect little or no sleep. Then Satan tests him on his human hunger, worldly authority and on being the Son of God.

From reading the New Testament I don't know how many times I think Jesus faced every temptation people face.

I did a quick concordance check. Hebrews 2:17 supports this:

For this reason he had to be made like them, fully human in every way, in order that he might become a merciful and faithful high priest in service to God, and that he might make atonement for the sins of the people.

I think this means that Jesus experienced complex mental health issues and that it was likely to be during the 40 day wilderness experience.

We have a very complete Saviour.

Thank you so much for putting up what you're reading in the Bible! I haven't read anything in a couple of days and it's a loving reminder. I've just read Hebrews 2. I agree with you about Jesus going through every emotion we do, and I think you're very insightful about the 40-day wilderness experience. I'd be inclined to agree. 💛

Re: Christian Chat

@Realness So true sis. Isaiah 53 already tells us this about Jesus before He was born. This is because our Heavenly Father, The Truth of ALL existence, hurts our lies a lot. For lies demand truth not to be and so, as Jesus demonstrates on the cross, lies crucify God!

Both religious people as well as unbelievers participate in His death! As we can see on Golgotha.

This is why Jesus says to Thomas if you have seen Me then you have seen the Father. He spoke these words very close to His crucifixion.

The concept of a crucified God has silenced many atheist who claim God is cruel making us suffer. Yet Isaiah 53 tells us He suffers ALL bad life with His Life. Such is The Grace and love of our God. To give us existence in our lies and number Himself away us doing so. Hurting our hell for us.

This is why i loved it so much meeting Jesus in my pit. For Jesus literally turned my reality upside down for me at these depths of suffering. In a way that still blows me out each time i descend to such depths in me and meet Him there. (Although this hardly ever happens that i go that deep down nowadays.)

Love that literally cocoons Me in His love, no matter the depression, and has me praying for those hurting down deep without Him. Where the love i feel for God, self and other has such passion that it seems my heart is melting the goodness of it.

It is about holding onto His love no matter the assault depression exercises. So glad He taught me to keep my eyes on Him. Although it was many years in the making.

@heartathome @Realness @ENKELI @Appleblossom

So good to see you also know Him in your suffering. For us believers this is where He will turn our lives upside down. Just like The Wicked hurting us will also experience Him appearing in our lives.

When you ponder on that you will begin to smile!

@Realness Good meeting you again. My day has been okay so far. A slight head ache, not sure why. My mood has been fine as well.

No nausea or acid today so that makes my day already a lot brighter.

Be blessed and a blessing today.

@DownMoreThanUp

Thanks for your encouragement!

I listened to the Phil Wickham song (I don't open all the attachments - I skim through some things). I found it very peaceful. Like watching a cow in a meadow. I love seeing cows. I always feel no before and no after just a peaceful now when I look at a cow in pasture.
