Re: Christian Chat

@DownMoreThanUp I think your reply was aimed at our lovely @heartathome.

I am trying to limit my time on the forums as I get too involved with people and their problems and when they don't like what I say they end up being ungrateful and mean, blaming me for their misunderstanding. (I am not pointing the finger at anyone in particular)

I also find a lot of sadness and negativity affects me greatly and as a person who is by nature optimistic it can cause emotional distress.

I truly love the Christian Chat forum, we are all sharing our love for Jesus and everyone is upbeat even when they are having a tough time.

@heartathome @Realness @Appleblossom @tyme you are all so dear to me.

Much love and many prayers.

If you need extra prayers please reach out and let me know.

@DownMoreThanUp my darling brother who are you going? You and my good friend whose hubby has prostate cancer are at the top of my list each morning and evening.

God bless 🙌

Re: Christian Chat

@ENKELI Yes dear sister you were right that chat was meant for @heartathome , i edited my chat.

Great you also enjoy coming here, and yes i have the same problem as you negativity effects me. Therefore i try and avoid it, for i'm prone to being like that too, much more so than optimistic as you are.

However over the years Jesus has been making stronger teaching me in my weakness about this vulnerability in me. So He can make me more able to hold onto my identity in Him, and not let the lies of satan drag me down so easily.

The first things satan always seems to do attacking me in my faith, is either smite me with pride when Jesus had me succeed somewhere, so i become haughty looking down on the other person as unable andneeding to be taught. Or satan smites me with guilt and shamed when i accept his accusations/gossip about me reading the reply. All so he can have me stay away from the person needing help, because how i am feeling, and i will not stay in contact, or be smitten with such a sense of wrong (doing) i do not dare, or want, to proceed with them.

Sadly either way satan wins, having me look at myself to win or be good, instead of letting Jesus/The Truth of God's Word fight such battles for me and not supporting someone who could have otherwise been helped. For that lying creep is a real fiend always trying to sabotage our life in service to Jesus.

@heartathome About your reply to me earlier. i understand this to be your position, and applaud anyone placing their faith in God when things are too hard or overwhelming, it are those things Jesus has been teaching to do as well. Nevertheless i do not know which poem you mean when you said this, for ihave posted a few, i might have more to add if i know which poem sparked your reply.

Hoping you are fast asleep knowing you under the full protection of our Lord's angels.

Peace.

Re: Christian Chat

@ENKELI Oh sis i forgot to thank you for praying for me, and joined praying for your friend with cancer. It is good when Jesus lays those on our hearts who need our prayers.

As a Church we have been actively praying for a sister in our Church who has already been given up on 15 years ago with stage 4 cancer. Yet the prayer of her brothers and sisters, as well as the faith Jesus gave her in Him, has the cancer contained all these years, but has recently come back again in force.

The latest we heard is that the spots they had found before have disappeared, and she needs to under go more tests to see if any other cancers are present in her body for her blood samples did show a possibility of that.

Better news than we had at first at least.😁

Sadly i'm in pain, got a kidney stone again. These cursed anti-acid tablets keep producing them. i've been up since 12:15am and been trying to flush it but so far no luck.

Luckily so far at least they have not been overly large, or caused an infection, which i have had in the past. Yet the pain of stone after it passed can endure as a sensitive spot for a week or more.

Drink coffee now to help flush. Coffee, and beer as well, can really assist flush my stones i found, but beer at this time of the day is not for me, yet i love my coffee.

Have i shared this poem with you? (i wrote soon after my first major psychosis, nearly 29 years ago i suppose, to explain to my pastor that spirituality, life lived, speaks a language so much clearer than our words can ever do.)

See what you think,

To The Speakers Of Words.

Whatever do you mean using words again?
Is vocabulary not a little plain?
Words synchronising souls as one?
Can such a feat truly be done?
For I cannot with words relay,
Why I am myself this way.

Be events either good or bad,
be our interaction sad or glad.
Consider, good times offer happy faces,
still the words spoken are just reflecting traces,
of the togetherness that's found,
for joy, cannot, by words, be bound!

Bear in mind that laughter resists spelling,
even as tears wail words of wrong telling.
Watch jealousy offer red hot treason,
just as rage defies all spoken reason.
so hateful thoughts inside our heart do burn,
while its miseries for God's goodness yearn.

Could our reality be fully articulated?
Present tense offering more than has been explicated?
Truer then the written pages used to announce?
A whole lot more than anyone could ever pronounce?
For events increase what in your heart and mind will stay,
telling so much more than you can read, or I can say!

Or can your tongue genuinely translate..,
..what feelings twine through your thoughts of late?
Surely life within, words can only address?
So often creating a real inner mess!
Moreover what about these spirits so sly,
evil thoughts weaving words into a lie?

Please know the heart so you can see,
that words hide much sin and misery.
Even the Bible, The Loving Word of the Lord,
requires the Spirit to cut like a flaming sword.
Albeit The Truth needs no letters to explain Himself,
nor any accusers after His mistakes to delve.

See how compassion heeds love with much regard,
understand that hope restores a faltering heart.
Observe determination reach out at a distant goal,
and experience true thankfulness gladdening your soul.
Feel the joy which lights-up a most sombre face,
and live beneath the umbrella of God's Grace.

Please know that trust has no boundaries nor fear,
even as in love many are as one so near.
So truthfulness is also a gift of yore,
our very existence has in this its core.
Oh such truth with mere words I can never explain,
as ink on a diamond will always look a stain!

So merely pen and paper paraphrasing what would be?
Words illustrating the breath of spirituality?
Or does our language hinder His salvation?
The lack of phrases chaining contemplation?
Therefore linguistics cannot always stand,
as even Scripture's words come to an end.

Rather the truth your heart accumulates,
will determine what final fate awaits.
When in word or letter you've made a stand,
The Lord will such results from you demand.
Yet if the Spirit of Loving Truth shapes your reality,
judgement day will bring joy instead of anxiety.

Thanks for the tag! You mean a lot to me too! @ENKELI 💛 I love the way you can articulate yourself so well!

I also find a lot of sadness and negativity affects me greatly and as a person who is by nature optimistic it can cause emotional distress.

I totally get this! I think, if I'm not careful, I could either burn out or become depressed too!!

Don't get me wrong. I love being on here and connecting to some beautiful people although it can be emotionally taxing for me at times. I haven't verbalised this before!

I hope you have a refreshing day and know we love you! 💛

Re: Christian Chat

Beautiful. Words are so limited so I'm glad God can see our heart! @DownMoreThanUp I can't remember the poem before, but my memory isn't so good! I hope your day is good and you can pass that kidney stone! 💛

Re: Christian Chat

Sorry @DownMoreThanUp I've only just seen your post.

Would you know of any other ways of making it sound less intense, keeping truth, as to make it more available to other readers than myself? I know what you're saying but I don't think you should change anything. It's the words from your heart. You can't get any better than that! When you write them, are you talking to God or other people? Maybe both. It's a good way of processing life! 💛

Re: Christian Chat

@heartathome A lot of my poems i write against the wicked, so neither God nor other people. The wicked in my books are the 'dark forces' which plant the lies in our minds so they can control us through our emotions/feelings, guided by our 5 physical senses (ewhich like ubholy kings ruling us misery and sin) instead of The Spirit of God and freedom from the flesh we walk in.

@Realness @ENKELI @Appleblossom @tyme

A shape poem against The Wicked i first wrote around 2009-2010 i think.

i hope it is readable on your device. Let me know i can post it in words as well if need be.

A poem i wrote as Ode to our Lord in His Eternal Trinity.

All Praise To Our God

Beloved Jesus it is You we all adore.
You are the One who loves us more.
You are The One who always cares.
You are the One who everything shares.
You are The One deserving all Praise.
You are The One who bought us Grace.

Spirit of God You gave us Jesus to know.
Praises to Him from our sinful lips to flow.
The Living Word in You becomes our life.
Your loving truth ends all our inner strife.
Sanctifying our ailing spirits on The Way.
Bringing us God The Father when we pray.

Heavenly Father Above All You we adore.
With tear streaked faces flat on the floor.
marvelling at Your undying graceful Voice.
Hallelujah in Your unfailing Love we rejoice.
Egocentric and sinful world we leave behind.
Knowing Eternal Goodness in You we will find.

And a poem to share with those around me

An invitation to The Chosen.

God's Love will not take or will
you to conform to rules or demand
which imprison, enslave, burn or harm you.

God's Love will not pervert what's Good
The Lord loves truthfully Wise and Good.
True Love was, is and always will be Good!

In God's Love you are free to be right!
In His love everything is good proper and kind.
He loves all who love good and true to rule!

His Love is caring, providing, and sharing.
His Love always enjoys and protects good life.
His love rules even when bad life has being in us!

Hear Jesus call - 'Come join up with us all!
Leave whatever ties you down and be free
loving good life with all God's own to be.'

To the rest in your heart God's asks
how long will you tarry in the darkness?
Please leave such bad existence within.

For life must not, no never should, or would, or could,
be forceful, rude, prideful, arrogant, selfish, lustful
or otherwise be untrue to God's loving truth.

Neither should life be hurting or ill,
hungry, oppressed, despised, hated
or otherwise have existence in wrong.

Please hand your Bad Life over to Jesus
Humbly ask for His Good Life back in return
and go love God, self and neighbour with Joy.

The Church knows that Jesus is coming soon
All bad life will be our shameful past then,
so please leave your bad life while you can!

Love

Have a blessed Day.

@heartathome @DownMoreThanUp @ENKELI

Well today I continued on with Luke 3.

John the Baptist is placed in a historical setting by the listing of the regional leaders. All through the Bible are real people who really walked this earth. God using real people despite their flaws and mistakes. But that's the wrong emphasis it should be God wanting to use each of His unique creation.

John the Baptist. Repent equals turn. Turn to God. Turn to Jesus. We turn. God/Jesus does the rest.

John the Baptist preparing the world for Jesus the Messiah.

Jesus' baptism - God calling out from heaven, "He's Mine! I'm so proud of Him!" (Like all the angels calling out at Jesus' birth.)

Finishes with the genealogy. List of fathers/sons. Flawed situations in the list. God again using flawed people in flawed situations in the descendants of Jesus.

My favourite for today is God calling out how proud He was of Jesus.

Hope you all can feel Jesus near you today.
