You'll need your aircon working in your car throughout the summer! Mines not working properly but I don't have the money to get it fixed. It looks like I'm going to get a rescue cat tomorrow instead! 😆

I went to Bible study this morning. We were looking at Psalm 19. I will go and see a friend soon and have a cuppa. Otherwise, I'm on here.

@heartathome it really struck a chord with me and as I was rewatching God's Not Dead I was reminded of it. I want to commit it to memory so that when I am feeling upset about the "successful people" in my life I will recite it.

Mine has been out for at least a year because I had the same problem, no money to fix it. It's only because I borrowed money from my brother that I can get it fixed and I have to pay him back with interest. The interest was my idea but he was such a d*ck about loaning me the money and we had a fight. He did apologise to me after though. For him it was a large sum of money which I understood but he acted like he was giving me the money and wanted to know exactly done to the cent what I would be spending it on. Anyway it's done and all is peaceful again in Casa Enkeli.

Dentist is booked, I did a 45 minute round trip to one suburb to pick up my prescription, drive to the chemist then back home.

Paris is booked in for a service and aircon repair on Monday.

I am also looking at the Funnings website for pedestal fans to replace the old decrepit ones I have!

I think I have done more today than I have all of last week!

Enjoy your time with your friend, it's always nice to have a cuppa with friends isn't it? I love catching up with friends and just like on here, I talk a lot lol! My best friend and I have known each other for 51 years, I was her mums' rent-a-daughter. When friend was living in the UK her mum would often come visit me. After living all over WA and her in London, we now live a 10 minute drive away from each other, which we chuckle about.

I don't have any study this week so I will be around as well xoxo

@avant-garde okay, that is so passive-aggressive. I really wish these people would pray in earnest before they write an email.

The fact that he even wrote "you have known me long enough that I am not going to invade your privacy" shows that he has invaded your privacy.
I wish every pastor was like the one I had at my former church. He was the best, and even when he was busy he had time for me. Our church is affiliated with Margaret Courts' church so one Sunday we had a special service where Ps Margaret was preaching. I had burnt my hand very badly several days before and even though my pastor was busy co-ordinating everything for the service he still had time to stop and pray over my hand (which healed within days, thank You Jesus).

I am praying you can be comfortable and happy at your church, and I also pray for you to receive discernment from the Lord so you know it's where you should be.

Thank you for sharing part of your story with me @avant-garde ! Now I understand more about you and the church issue! We prayed for you today at Bible study. I've heard stories like yours but never met anyone who's experienced it. I'm so sorry! It should never have happened! I love a Phoenix, and you certainly are one! I think you are one of Gods miracles to survive such a thing! How do you turn out to be such a beautiful person? Sending much love and hugs! 💛
