Christian Chat

Hi my friends, this is Bella here, I thought how nice & lovely to have a Thread for Christians. I am not talking about Religion, GOD is Love, GOD gives free will to us all in the world. I have a relationship with GOD through HIS Word-The Bible, most of my life. I became a Pentecostal Christian many years ago. Would you like to come join me here in this Thread?

I am excited about starting it, you can just sit relax, chat about your love, for GOD & JESUS. Or post encouragement for others. Support, or be supported with Prayer. Hey, would you like to, Praise & post links to Praise & Worship music? Stories, or experiences, poetry, fun things to help us have a giggle, lovely pictures, photos, there are so many things you can post & chat about that will Bless & Build us up in The LORD! Life is about giving, loving, healing flows from a loving heart, whom purely wants to- just give!

I hope & pray, you will receive, Peace, Love, & JOY!... & healing in your heart! Amen xo <>< Bella 🙂

Re: Christian Chat

Hello my friend! I haven't heard anything yet about the autopsy and I don't want to ask them. They'll let me know when the funeral is on. I'm glad I got to see him a few days before he passed. I didn't see him that often. I was more concerned for how my partner would take it, but he's okay atm.

I'll have power over the weekend, I presume. It's 'glamping' with a queen bed, lights, side tables and kitchenette. They are in between a tent and a cabin and are already on site. I assume power for what I've paid. I'll have data on my phone so we can still catch up!

I'm glad your appointment went well! I always look forward to mine! He told me that I've been seeing him since 1999. That's 26 years ago! 😲 I get thirty minutes to go over any problems I've had in the last month and him to organise my medications. I don't need him as much now but it's good to have him there. We've been through so much together that I can't let him go. He's met my sisters (one deceased), my partner and my son. He understands the struggles that I've had with my son since he was nine. He understands my PTSD when I get overwhelmed and does for me much like your therapist did for you. I need to know two things when I get overwhelmed and that is I'm okay and I'm safe.

We talked about my favourite topic in the recovery group... motivation! I hate the word! But I did pick up on a change of attitude towards walking. Instead of saying I have to (go for a walk) I can say I get to. It didn't work today! 😉 Knowing and doing are so far apart! I better see what's going on the other threads before I go to bed, so I'll say goodnight for now @REDLINEZ750 . 💛

Re: Christian Chat

Good morning my friend. I don't think you're being nosey @REDLINEZ750 Just curious like me. I asked AI when the police are called and they attend if the death is unexpected, unexplained, or needs to be officially confirmed. If the cause isn't known, then the police must be called.

'see pic with some muscle bound fella serving shampas with undies and a red bowtie on'. I couldn't think of anything worse! 🤮 I'm not into muscle men, I don't drink and I don't want to see any bulges! 😂 I'd prefer if they could leave me some chocolate instead!

'all the incoming has landed now so just waiting on some emails to sign and wait till next round' I don't know what you mean by this. Has it got something to do with seeing your therapist?

I hope to be on later to say goodnight. 😴 💛

Re: Christian Chat

@heartathome i understand fully where you are coming from sis saying joy does not often delight your heart. It depends what you understand your joy to be i know to be true in my life. i do know that my rejoicing does not lay in the fact that i'm having a good time in my physical reality, as such is hardly ever true. For only when i'm going through a manic time, can i have joyful times, but my manic times are very rare nowadays properly medicated.

Rather my joy is seeing Jesus always gets Eternal good life for me, even out of my worst of times. In this way my bad times are often nullified as being bad, for why would bad still be bad when i received good from of it?

In that way my suffering life is a bit like a woman going through the pangs of labour all so can have her child in her arms at the end of it is my life now. i know this is why Jesus for the joy of our salvation went to the cross (Hebrews 12:2) and why Paul (2 Cor 1:7) and Peter (1 Peter 4:13) also rejoiced in their suffering bad life, for they knew Jesus would be revealed inside of them through that. It sure has been like that in my life, meeting Jesus in my inner dwelling place rock bottom and then receiving His ability even as i trade my inability with Him. Such is my joy even going through hardest of times, no more meaningless suffering as it used to be.

For since im et Jesus, He has taught me to forgive and love even myself and to rejoice overcoming bad life not trying to do good/The Law myself, but solely relying on Jesus righteousness to be my righteousness.

Basking in God's love that way Jesus taught me to be patient, to endure, be kind, to suffering long, to be humble, sympathetic towards others who suffer, and He brought me wisdom, as well as (self) knowledge, and so many other Eternal Treasures my heart rejoices in. Furthermore, and my joy every day again, is that Jesus had me overcome my addictions, sin dominating my daily life, my horrible rage, my freaking fear and paranoia, my deepest despair, hopelessness, grief, sadness, and isolation.

These Heavenly gifts and abilities, brought alive in me after meeting Jesus, in particular as i go through my suffering, has me rejoice even through my worst times.

Re: Christian Chat

I'm glad we can find joy in Jesus @DownMoreThanUp . What you said makes a lot of sense, but I was talking more about feeling joy in this world. 'has me rejoice even through my times worst times' If you have that, praise God! I think it could be from the medications that I'm on that I only get snippets of earthly joy. 💛

Re: Christian Chat

@heartathome Yes AD's did that to me as well. Put me rock bottom, even drove me suicidal a few times. i like it much better if i cycle through my moods, at least i get some variation, and even some good days at times.

i found that psych meds made me always so brain dead. After just a little while i would have no more interest in reading my bible, praying, or going places like Church. Even after being on psych meds for long periods, like some anti-psychotics i took for years, such deadness in my heart as well as in my mind would not go away but get worse. And always had me wanting to die rather than live on in a mental cocoon. For this DEADNESS in me, which felt like a black hole in my soul, would basically drag me down deepest on such meds.

i used to be so frustrated seeing it work for others but not for me. Not to speak about having to face some psychs who would literally blame me for their meds not working for me. Not sure if others experienced such treatments, but i know i did.

In the end it was all about me learning how to stay in control lowest, and/or when i'm psychotically paranoid shitless or raging. Raging when psychotic has been the real challenge. Giving Jesus my inability to deal with my symptoms while going through them turned out to be the only way to overcome them. Now my rage is gone, replaced by sadness, even though i still can go lowest and i still also have psychotic times, though no major ones for ages now.

So glad Creation Herself turned out a big aid, at 'work' next to Jesus, for my benefit.😀 Also T.M.G has a real AD kind of effect on me, when i take enough of it, mind you it is not natural, yet together with other natural remedies, make my life very much more bearable.

Jesus sure put my life upside down to how it used to be.

When suffering life down here we want to know Jesus like our brother Patrick also once did.

@Jynx Could you show me please how to keep this thread available to me all the time? If I go onto the Social space, on the right, the only Christian thread I can find was from 10 years ago. What aren't I doing?

Hey @heartathome hope you got this one sorted? If not, there's two main ways, both accessible by going to the top of the page, and finding the three dots to the right of the thread title (next to the star), click, and from the drop down menu you can 'favourite' or 'subscribe' - and clicking the star itself will also favourite the thread for you.

Favourite threads are then always available in your favourites list which should appear on the right hand side of most forums pages - or you can go to your profile and scroll down to the 'Favourites' section under your recent posts.

If you subscribe, it means that you will get a notification every time someone posts something new in the thread. So up to you if you simply want it to be always accessible, or if you want all the updates, or both!
