thought it might be cool to get everyone under 30 years old to share their experiences on the forum
just to help each other with "young people stuff"

Re: under 30s thread

For sure @outlander every week I almost gave up
I'm not book smart so even sitting in a classroom for an extended period of time I couldn't cope with, just being in a classroom I couldn't cope with. It was a mix of book work and practical hands on learning and I could not do the bookwork

Re: under 30s thread

Yeah for sure @outlander more than I thought! But at least while it's only me working and I'm not hiring people I don't have to pay for overheads, like as in I don't need to pay rent on a space or anything like that. Whereas my work we do because we have multiple cars and tools and stuff to store etc so that's one thing good about it just being me

Re: under 30s thread

ah yep that makes sense @Former-Member thatll be good if its just you in that way but i hope youll be able to still keep your friends youve made too though. maybe as you progress you could hire a few others but not straight away

Re: under 30s thread

My mate lives on the coast he owns a business he said I could go live with him this year and he can help me finish my final year but I didn't end up going. It's too much to move all the way down there and my current boss is a legend anyway @outlander

Re: under 30s thread

The way I reconnected with my mentors is through work @outlander through my own business
I was approaching schools to put my ad in their newsletter and at one of the school's was my old carer working in the office . I ended up talking a little bit to her and found her on FB, it's gone up from there
