Re: My struggle
Hi Evie I have sent you the message again from the previous moderator, hopefully this can help, if not perhaps you need to call 000 or lifeline?
What strategy or support did you use last time you were feeling this way? Or maybe you can try some new strategies. There's plenty of information about strategies others have used and recommend if you do a quick search of the forums. Even something simple like going for a walk, imagining you're in a peaceful and happy place, or listening to some uplifting music
Have you mentioned to your psychologist that you might need some coping strategies? I'm sure they can help you with some ideas next time you have an appointment.
Remember you can contact Lifeline on 13 11 14 if you need to talk to someone immediately.

Re: My struggle
Thanks @jazz
Hey @Evie1 I suffer from anxiety too and have got suicidal thoughts too.
What helps me is a few different things, but some things are:
Punch a punching bag or pillow
scream into a pillow
watch my favourite show - big bang theory
turn some uplifting music on and just walk around the house if late
play on my ipad
go on youtube and watch tv bloopers (makes me giggle)
Is there something there you could try or might give you ideas of something else you could do
Nell

Re: My struggle
@Evie1well that is great that you are trying to stop self harming. I know it takes a lot of strength to change our ways and try and use different coping strategies.
All the strategies that I listed I use them to try and stop myself from self harming too.
