Worry Room - Get it out, and walk away: No responses please

Worry Room - Get it out, and walk away: No responses please

Got something that's bugging you?

Want to vent, but don't want a response?

Sometimes our minds can get stuck in circles trying to sort out an issue. This can keep you up at night, or make it hard to focus on other things. I find that putting things away, and not thinking about it temporarily can be helpful.

This is the place to get it out, and then give yourself permission to let it go.

Maybe you will need to get back to it some other time, but this is space where you can put it in a place so that you can leave it for some time and (try) not to worry about it in the mean time.

It's a thread where people don't need to reply, it purely just to get it out your worry and concerns.

If you want to show your support for someone, hit the 'like' button. In this thread, 'like' doesn't mean that you 'like' someone's issue, but you support them in letting it out.

So write down your concerns, put it in a vault, shut the door, and allow yourself to walk away from it.

Pls note: If you are reading other people's posts, please respect that they don't want a response. Show your support by 'Liking' their post.

I'm scared, I'm chickening out now, I can't do it.

I would rather d!e then have to go through it.

I don't want to tell them, they might make me stay in for longer

I can't do this anymore

And yet again I pick up the peices and pretend I'm OK when I'm far from it. I never ask too much from my professional support network but when I do, I'm really not coping. So I ask,the first time in a really long time, and I'm met with silence, unreturned messages and phone calls and unavailable people for whatever reason that might be. So I reach out to the only person who can support me, the strongest personal support I have. But she keeps it light and simple, when I need to go deeper & I can't share those feelings and thoughts. And again I ask myself what the fk am doing relying on these professionals when I'm consistently let down? I've abandoned medication, perhaps it's time to abandon everything else and stop fighting. What will be will be.

Re: Worry Room - Get it out, and walk away: No responses please

I’m still coming to terms with an inadequate unresolved medical outcome.

A shock, as GP Dr had said he would remove the protruding internal stitches – that’s what the “Minor Procedure” appointment (plus extra fee) was for.

Instead, after opening it up – he said that he was unable (lacked expertise) to remove either stitch/ suture.

He also said that they are “Non-absorbable” (permanent) stitches, the wrong type for inside (internal) – so they will always remain there (not dissolve).

The GP Dr re-stitched skin closed, & left it like that. Sore.

Dr did acknowledge (say) that the sutures were never meant to poke through my skin at all – let alone for the past 11 months.

Fasting Blood Test left me dizzy & nauseas.

I have no idea what action to take at this stage.

As I was expecting the situation to be resolved - with no need for any further medical referrals or procedures.

My neighbour said that I will/ may have to get yet another Referral back to see a Surgeon.

Scared of so much, i am alone and invisible. cant breathe, cant focus and i'm so tired. Scared of tomorrow and of failure and not coping. I don't have answers for the people who want to know what next at work and how to manage any 'what next' anyway. and the options are so limited so as to be futile to help anyway. I don't know anymore.

Health anxiety really sucks and is really hard for me to manage today. There seems to be triggers everywhere today

@Former-Member

Less than 60 people have this Corona Virus - in all of Australia.

The entire country.

I am very concerned at a Figure of 30,000 being quoted on this Forum - in relation to the Corona virus.

Quoting figures like that Promotes Hysteria & Panic.

Also saying "We must be prepared" (said on Forum) - promotes & maintains this Panic shopping (buying), & feelings of panic & hysteria in general - which are already the cause of the problem (attitudes).
