When everything is said and done

Hello,

what do you do when you think everything is said and done and you feel there is no way forward?

@Former-Member Hmmm ... I brush myself off, wipe my tears and say to myself I am only human and pat myself on the back... if people cannot forgive me for my past transgretions they were never my friends to begin with or could be my friends in the future.

Basically I forgive myself and move on even if it is in baby steps and sometimes going forward means I take a couple of steps back in the process. Life is short and I believe all of this ... my life ... is just a miniscual part of something much, much bigger (I am spiritual not religious),

Totally agree with @Bunniekins and @Former-Member

We are all human. We all have days when it seems that everything is going to be horrible/sad/depressing, and remain that way, however these feelings will and eventually do change.

Is there anything you want to talk about? Sometimes just having someone to vent to might help you clarify things.

Dear @Former-Member, if someone is not listening to you, try not to worry. Prayer helps. Prayer produces life and makes changes. I know from personal experience how prayer has changed others thoughts and their heart to me. God softens hearts.

I feel ignored by my mother atm, but I'm not going to ruminate on her bad and sad words to me over and over like a squirrel on a treadmill syndrome. I am at peace now, knowing I did my best and never hurt her with words. I'm no longer like the analogy of a bird trapped in the branches by circumstances, I am set free in Jesus name.

@Former-Member perceptive thoughts by @Bunniekins. I was reading your post and thought well....does there have to be a forward?
Is not easy to offer thoughts without knowing the situation and is not easy for people to say the situation if it disclose's privy info.
I think if 'everything is said and done' ?? perhaps then 'it is done'. It is simply as it is...there are no more words...weary feelings....or a way forward. Perhaps there doesn't need to be a way forward as I think if there is a way forward? there would be more words...more thoughts....
I dont know that it is about acceptance or forgiveness. Perhaps it is about sitting comfortable with the feeling of the thought that 'everything is said and done'....

I just feel like I’m stuck. I am too young and have responsibilities, but I cannot focus or work.

All I hear from my professionals is that I need more intense treatment, hospital, but I’ve been down that road and it has relieved my life briefly, but then I’m back where I was before. Or better say, everytime my life got a little bit more stripped away.

I’m just empty and without purpose and without a picture of how I’m gonna get better. I was always a planner, a doer and now I’ve got nothing left to say. I regress, my window of tolerance is rarely there, I’ve learnt a lot in and out of hospital, but I struggle to implement. Where there is no purpose, there is no reason. So I float every day and just hang in there.
