I dont know how much longer i can keep going on like this anymore. I feel completely defeated right about now

@Phoenix_Rising yes, beyond the 10 sessions a years. And sorry not trying to argue with you, just informing you that not all psychologists are rebated for 10 sessions a year. Not all are agreeable to the Mental Health Plan, particularly in private practice. I only know these things as I've researched it a lot for my own purposes and needs.

@outlander - I'm glad you recognise the work that you do. No it's not 9 - 5, but a lot of jobs aren't. You keep doing what you enjoy doing and what you're good at.

During my last depression I didn't have much of an appetite, but now the anti depressants are working, I'm eating heaps. So it's good your psych us takung your concerns about weight gain, seriously.

@utopia thanks. ive learnt that sometimes ive got to look at the big picture and see what it really is that im doing. no, i agree thats why i dont get when people say get a 9-5 job. alot of jobs are shift workers and this person who im no longer calling a friend is trying to push me into nursing- uhhh not a 9-5 job its shift work too
my last anti-depressants made me really sick and wasnt helping, it was actually making me worse so had to go off them. i looked like the walking dead on those. i got to a point where i was under a healthy weight.

It is hard when people say you are not working, when you are.
Or caring, when you are.
In that, you do have to be your own best friend.
Don't let nastie pasties undermine your sense of worth; whether they are random people you know or dont or paid as counsellors etc.
I knew my last psych relationship was at end when I was being sympathetic to her Medicare and Reception problems. Hah. I was not getting paid I was out of pocket.
Now I am getting very tight and a bit tetchy.
I should check the Royal Commission lot and see what my son and I am entitled to.

thanks @Appleblossom i appreciate you input. i have to learn to get a sense of self and stick to it but i dont even that atm so im abit lost

But your new meds are working well @outlander - with the only side effect being weight gain - which the other meds should help.
I did nursing - 6.30am to 3pm - 4 days a week and did night school 2 nights and worked in a factory 2 days a week. Not normal hours or work - but I loved it.
