Hey @Sans911 I think it is human nature to react first in some instances - so you are not alone there. The one thing you learn very early on teaching kids is that there is no point 'talking' to them about their actions, behaviours etc. until they have 'calmed down' and can see what has happened with a much more objective view. It is a skill to be able to know and implement that type of response but one which we rarely can apply to ourselves - it does take awareness, consistency and practice - all really difficult when we are right in the middle of a reaction or emotional struggle.
