@outlander Sweetheart they did you a favour they told you and showed everyone how classless they are. Shed them like a second skin. You are better than they are. You don't need them. You really don't. Don't hate them just let them go.

I have had a bit of similar experience where i tell people stuff in confidence and it ends up spreading.. silly. People seem to be rather immature with sensitive information.

Take comfort in the fact that you are trying though. IT's a big ask to do that and seek help. When people knock us back like that though it can really set us back. The reality is that not everyone is like that though.

You will rise above this i think.

People tend to struggle to understand why I deal with what I deal with... but i have learned to just accept that they will struggle to understand. At the end of the day, their lack of understanding bares no weight on my own reality. I know this shit is real and that's that. I'm not interested in debating that with people and anyone that wants to can piss off lol. I'm open to discussing it and open to hearing different strategies etc (Which is why i go to therapy and such) but when people get annoyed and/or upset at me i take that very hard and i just stop being friends with them. Happened recently.

I guess this forum is a family for you hey? please do take good care of yourself and remember that although this one time it did not work. It won't always be that way. That's BPD i guess too right?

a similar experience happened to someone i knew, she basically got told by a mutual friend we had that 'she changed' and this friend was 'uncomfortable with who she was now'. This girl had depression and also had a mum with schitzophrenia too. What it told me was that this guy in question was too immature.

Go take some time out and heal @outlander and remember what everyone here is saying - these people are not worth it. Cast them aside. This is hard to do I know from experience. But for every 10 people you cast aside, there are 1 or 2 diamonds in the rough. It's a statistical thing 🙂
