@outlanderit is probably wise not to tell him yet, it might be the other possibilities. I know its hard to stay positive and we always think of the worse possible outcome, its what we all do.
At least with the x-ray you might get some more answers which is good. At least the gp is being thorough.

I came back home @Former-Member i couldnt do it. I couldnt drive. I couldn't see and it hurt to much.

@outlandersays who? I think you are being way too hard on yourself. Everyone needs caring for at different times in their life even you. You are going those your own MH issues as well as trying to care for your Pop so of course you need caring for.
I was a carer for 6 years for my father so know it is extremely hard, and I needed just as much support for myself that I gave him.

@outlander - in ANY caring relationship, there will be many occasions where the carer needs respite to manage health issues, time out, etc. Your grandfather is so, so lucky to have you. And I bet he's well aware of this. So it's ok, it's alright, and unfortunately you sometimes have to prioritise what or who needs attention first. That's not selfish, nor wrong. It just us what it is. You can't care adequately for your Pop if you aren't well. That's without a doubt. Your Pop is an adult too. Try not to expect so much, and enjoy what times you have together, without thinking that you should be doing more. You are enough, but you have to be enough for yourself as well.
