How are you both today?

Heading to church this morning @outlander ..... the fountain of my faith ..... then family breakfast, shopping for it on the way home. Might walk for a coffee first .....

After that nothing scheduled, but a foot massage might be somewhat necessary I think .... see how I go.

I am also going to draw poppies today for Rememberance Day, and @Zoe7 is going to show us how to make craft poppies.

Still battling the trace elements of this cold @Former-Member. I don’t usually get sick, so it’s a warning sign that I am a bit run down at the moment. Will have to do something about that ....

I misplaced a bag of vitamins a month or so ago, and I reckon that’s what’s done it ..... held off replacing it cos it’s $$$ .... but necessary methinks.

Hi @outlander I was pottering around Forum Land and I noticed your random question here. I actually have the answer for you.

For the first couple of years of his life my (P) was a food trial cat for a particular pet food company. What this means is that he lived in a lovely cattery, hanging out with about a dozen other cats all day long. At night, each cat was put into a seperate cage with two bowls of food. Each bowl contained a different food and the amount of food was carefully weighed. In the morning, any leftover food in each bowl was weighed again. In this way, the person could measure how much of each food, each cat ate. Obviously if most of the cats ate the food being trialed more than the old version of the food, then the taste could be considered "new and improved."

Each cat (and dog - the process is exactly the same with the dogs) was kept at the facility for around 18 months and then re-homed. This is how I aquired (P).

So in answer to your question, it is the cats and dogs who get to do the taste testing. Pretty cool job hey. I would super like to get a similar job tasting chocolate.

You have such a great amount of things to deal with so not surprising you are run down at the moment. If you are anything like me, you will buy all new vitamins and then find the old ones! Thats something I do with lots of things. I hope today treats you well and will now wait 50 or so mins for the photo!!
