Night Shift

Since I am awake at 4am I thought I'd start this thread for those of us who have trouble sleeping and might find it helpful to have a place to go to chat. Whatever gets you through the night is alright.

To get the ball rolling, I'll just say that I enjoyed being part of the Topic Tuesday discussion tonight. I wish it was possible for these events to be weekly rather than monthly. Either way, thanks SANE and all the people I've met on here over recent months.

Think @Appleblossom might have better illustrated it @EternalFlower .. For me I have found that

Revisiting her old posts now and then helps hone my arrows. She has been round the same city blocks

so many times, found the toe stubs and pot holes for me . So I figure, use her maps so I can take the scenic route.

Keep being you and finding what works to create a life.

I spent a lot of time on this thread when I first joined forum.

It was my lifeline, better for me than the other one.

Not everyone has the grace to simply not respond if they dont have anything productive to say. We all live and learn...

@TAB you were very logical about forum mechanics...neutral like that can be good at times.

@tonys Thanks mate. I love you too. Yep been there, done dat. There are things I have not been able to control, but overall I am taking stock and wearing my scars with pride. Not feeling I have to cover everything with shame and being able to speak or type freely has made a huge difference.

I am back to cooking 🍳, setting up my new place and catching up with friends. I haven't been sleeping too good.

I had my carpet here steam cleaned today which worked out well

Good on you @EternalFlower I keep saying One Day ... I'll get mine steam cleaned. Have the vinegar and carpet cleaner out for another little spot job down on my knees. Glad you are cooking. Food is a form of nurture... but like most things ... the key is balance.

@TAB oh if your from Mars ... you can help me dig in some red clay out the front ... I def aint from Venus .... missed that boat somehow ...
