Night Shift

Since I am awake at 4am I thought I'd start this thread for those of us who have trouble sleeping and might find it helpful to have a place to go to chat. Whatever gets you through the night is alright.

To get the ball rolling, I'll just say that I enjoyed being part of the Topic Tuesday discussion tonight. I wish it was possible for these events to be weekly rather than monthly. Either way, thanks SANE and all the people I've met on here over recent months.

My ex used to do a lot of eating out in restaurants .. and as my son had been working hard all morning (7-12) I wouldnt have minded paying his share .. but ex decided to be coy and offered his son some of his own lunch .. a walnut roll ... I just thought bugger it .. go home and cook mum.

My ex 's best mate used to tease me about "home-made stuff" .. but in the long run even the old computer nerds with their companies and high pay rates ... find that money doesnt buy everything. SOme of them have even posted that on here.

it was all good. We are waiting to see if they get into the finals. But it was a first at a competition and accompanying ... so it was all good experience regardless. He can get to see the standard of the other singers.

Just struggling to find reasons to go on, everyone here has been wonderful, you have all given me a reason to go on, knowing I have wonderful friends in all of you.

I just need to work through this on my own, I can't use a phone.

Tonight I have a headache - actually it came on during the afternoon and I took a couple of tablets for it and went to sleep for a while - but I woke up when someone was tuning their guitars for a party that is still going on 4 hours - more - later

These things probably happen when I don't have a headache - but when I have a headache I seem to notice them - ahhhhhh - I just want to go to bed and I have my TV up louder than usual and I can use my computer for an hour if I use the battery

Okay - I have finished whinging - ah - I keep thinking the party is over but they are just taking a break

Nuff sed - I might be around for a while or I may go to bed -
