Night Shift

Since I am awake at 4am I thought I'd start this thread for those of us who have trouble sleeping and might find it helpful to have a place to go to chat. Whatever gets you through the night is alright.

To get the ball rolling, I'll just say that I enjoyed being part of the Topic Tuesday discussion tonight. I wish it was possible for these events to be weekly rather than monthly. Either way, thanks SANE and all the people I've met on here over recent months.

Hi @Shaz51 - we can't always be around here, no need to be sorry.

No sleep last night, a couple of short naps today but now I've got so much to do before tomorrow I think I'm in for a late night.

I had a cat until last weekend, but he's now off with his old owners, my nephews family. I only took him in as a favor, I'm really not a cat person & didn't think I was giving him the care & attention he needed. Too big & active for my small unit. Looking to maybe get a small dog soon, something to force me out to exercise more.

This is Trouble, now out of my care.

Yes, Arlo is the LOVE of my life....I got him from gumtree for free. I also do needle patchwork stuff.....

Could this be a @Drac0 gift? I like going out into the public and getting involved, I like very much that you do vollunteer work with the Youth.

Some people are just unable to vollunteer which difficult for them but like @Mazarita she is involved on Sane Forums and she is so so good at writing her feelings and giving compassion. Another person who is online and does.....amazing stuff with music and she and I have the same thing where she is involved with the public and takes little bits and pieces of gifts like I do,

Good to see you Apple,

this morning, Im going to the community centre to talk to Centrelink with my husband and then seeing the medicare local man about my son caring for my husband then, .....Im editing a letter for some random last on a dispability forum. She is really upset about the .....new .....um.....card payments.

I saw her letter, there are heaps of these forums around the place and I like how people with disabilites ...and not .....are voicing what they think. Not that I'm any good....I'm following the Ombusman's guide for writing complaints......
