New

New to this forum. A big deal for me trying to cope for years. It feels from browsing this forum that you know one another. That is both comforting an intimidating. Not sure where to start from here. Just this is a last resort for me. I'm lucky I have friends and family who rate me far beyond what I deserve. Which only makes me feel like a fake. "You're clever" no I'm stupid. You're nice. no I'm a cow. Can't see myself in a positive light. Not fishing for sympathy I just really can't see it

Hello @Shaz51, @Leah12, @Appleblossom, @CheerBear, @lola,

The weather here is fantastic so have lots of washing on the line and will be folding clothes later this afternoon. My little dog and I are having a bit of a veg out...I'm hoping to download more "Game of Thrones" Episodes from Series 1. I have watched up to Series 6, but there's much I don't remember, so I'm glad I can view these in my own sweet time. Hubby has been out for most of the day-which is good-which gives me time to relax and do a couple of things for myself. Hope everyone is having a good day.

Take care, all.

Thanks @Shaz51, the day didn't go quite to plan but I did get alot of the washing and folding done. Will be out of here in a few minutes to get some sun and get away from home for a few hours.

How are you going?

Yesterday was a can't get out of bed today day. Today I made myself get up and I have cleaned my entire house and I feel better for doing it but now it's quiet and I hate that. Putting on some music

Re: New

Hi @Leah12 I think we all have those days where we can't get out of bed. Glad to see that you were up and about today. What music do you like listening to?

Re: New

Hi @Leah12, nice to meet you!

What kind of music do you enjoy? I am listening to random iTunes music at the moment. The song playing at this very moment is Glorious by Macklemore.

Re: New

Thank you for your reply. I saw my gp a few months ago and I'm on anti anxiety meds but it's a process. She's lovely and has said it won't be a quick fix and I need counselling. Went to a couple of counselling appointments but felt like she was mismissing me so trying the forum before I seek another counsellor. Basically I have always struggled with anxiety and depression but the last 4 years my mother has had a serious illness I work full time and study and have my first mortgage and I was fine but now I'm just feeling like I can't keep my head up. Not looking for sympathy just like minded people who understand.
