Trouble !

it'll probably seem ridiculous to be overwhelmed by a broken washing machine but its just this other thing on top of so much else at the oment. i should have gone to the laundromat this afternoon but couldnt face it. i dont know how to manage organsing it to be repaired and picked up and everything that goes with it. its just one thing of so many that i cant face. the world is mounting up again.

@Former-Member. It's not a small inconvenience you are dealing with. It's a big one. Normally we don't think about washing our clothes etc - we just do it.
When my machine broke down, I did nothing about it for two weeks. I was in a depressive cycle & couldn't figure out what to do. And like you, trying to organise myself to get ro the laundry mat waa a no go. It was all just way too hard. I get that. You are not alone in not coping when something like this happens

When these modern gadgets / conveniences stop working - I remind myself our ancestors for centuries survived without them. But I know how its just another thing to circumnavigate when you've had enough.

its going to be a hard week, i have other stuff going on as well. i will probably not be around for a while but will be thinking of you all. Hopefully after this week i'll get my head back together. The forums have been a hard place for me to be lately and im busy mucking up everything i have going. So i'm going to take a break from everything and just get through this week. cant see the washing machine getting sorted anytime soon but its just one thing i guess. surviving other stuff will have to come first. will see you all soonish/laters.

When I have been without a washing machine @Former-Member, I have soaked clothes in the laundry trough in laundry soap, then sloshed it all and drained, rinsed, and hung dripping wet with minimal squeeze.

Is it hot weather where you are ? If not, fire it all across to me ...... it will dry here in 10mins .....
