Can you tell us about your "Name" here

Seeing as we have been sharing @soul's idea about our Avatar Picture - why not share about our Avatar Name as well?

I started here as Decadian and actually - that name still appears - and why did I start with that name?

It was nearly the 30th anniversary of my son's death - 3 decades - such a long time - so it's over 31 years but yes - I choose Decadian because of all my decades - more than I want to mention actually

I started signing off with Dec - then I had one of those days when my computer needed picking at - ah what - I spent the whole day trying to get back here and I had to start again with a new name because Decadian was already being used and so I started to use Dec - which is so easy to type

But the Decadian is the real name and the real person I gues - older than most of you but I feel perfectly okay about that

So I can hear my assisted shopping lady is turning up - I think anyway - it's time to go shopping -

So everyone - have the best day possible

Great name too - I know it's after your tabby cats - I have had tabby cats myself but not the one I have now - she's rather different

Brilliant thread @Owlunar!

I've been Queenie in the cyber world for so long now, it was natural for me to sign up as Queenie here also. It all began when I was first diagnosed and joined an international depression forum (as I was first diagnosed with psychotic depression) in 2006. Back then I used the same Queenie Q (or QQ for short). That forum has since closed, but I kept my online blog called "Down the Yellow Brick Road - Queenie's Blog". I have an affinity with fantasy type tales like Wizard of Oz and Alice in Wonderland (hence my signature). For many years I lived in a sort of 'Wonderland' where everything seemed so real to me, only to discover years later it was not real at all.

Anyhoo, I'm rambling... but that's why I am Queenie.

I chose Maggie because it's the name of my best friend and lifeline, my little dog. She is actually Maggie-May, and has nothing to do with the long gone old song.

Hi all mine is boring Ant is the first 3 letters of my name and A bit of a nickname I have picked up. I normally go with ant71 cause I’m a 71 model but that was taken so I dropped the 1 also 7 is my lucky number just a coincidence

Ohh I like this thread.

I picked Nell23 because my Dad used to call me Nell before he passed away, he was the only one who would. I picked 23 because I was married on the 23rd so has become my lucky number, hence Nell23
