Tell Us About Your Avatar

Due to anonymity reasons, we can't have our face as our profile pic. I was wondering tonight about all the different pics I have seen on this Forum and the story behind them.

Some of you like me have animals. Maybe they are your pets. Others have inspirational sayings. There are ones with scenes on them and others that feature flowers or abstract designs.

My pic stems from my fascination with jellyfish. I love going to those huge aquarium places and watching the jellyfish. They are so serene and beautiful and make me feel calm. If I lived in a town that had a jellyfish display, I'd be there every week. Sometimes I watch videos of them. I use the good feelings I get from seeing them to lift my mood so each time I am on the Forum I am reminded of the beauty in the world and the peacefulness of their movements.

I hope you enjoy my pic half as much as I do.

I'll tag some people to encourage them to share their story. Please tag others so we can all participate easily.

Re: Tell Us About Your Avatar

i guess i changed my avatar to this because it looks really unique and cool
its an event horizon.. the point at which nothing can come back from the power of a black hole.
I guess i love the idea of the unrelenting force of nature.. just kinda awe inspiring..

Re: Tell Us About Your Avatar

@MDT Hi Hamsolo01 I like the new avatar as well. Have you ever seen the movie Event Horizon? That would have to be one of the scariest movies I have ever seen !!!!!!

Re: Tell Us About Your Avatar

@NatalieS thanks 🙂

@Bunniekins no i havent seen that film, but i do know about it. It was actually on at maccas late one night a few years back. I googled event horizon in the hope of finding a cool picture (which i did) but there were gross photos of the movie. It looks rather gorey. Gore doesnt bother me because i watch game of thrones. But i think horror and gore and are a bad combo. Artisitic but bad lol
