Emotional pain

Emotional pain

Just been in bed,I had to get up I'm severely distressed with emotional pain .Went for a 12 km walk tonight, kept stopping with the sick feeling the world would be better place without me.

Haven't had it this bad for a while, but feel that after 5 years of struggling this, gone through therapy etc,it's hopeless.

I don't know how I can ever be happy and believe that there should be euthanasia for people like me.

Hi @Former-Member@utopia@lapses@dugga and everyone

So many sincere thanks for your replies. I just feel mutilated again and so afraid, after the conciliation party last week. I have until Thursday am. to accept the tokin offer - it is better than the first I received. I am OK that i stretched it as far as possible.

I am now a complete reject because - I am now as mad as what they have said about me - diagnosed with BPAD. I always worked well - I so get you Li1 - the chances of further employment are pretty well zero.

It is just awful for us both.and it hurts.

I am glad that you have applied for the carer's penison - Centrelink wil make you grovel to get it - I know this because I support people to obtain far from adequate entitlements.

I am saddened to hear about the necessity to care for your mother, please think about services and try and take care of you.

Day programs and weekend respite stays are essential for self care. Just
Do it she will adjust.

I do not have a mother - I was her first biological child after an adoption, unfrtunatey I was not "gift wrapped" as the first. I was clearly unsatisfactory, not into breast feeding and cried annoyingly. The parents would ship us off to the aunt and step uncles house, she was to the best of my knowledge my actual gandmother.
Whilst there grooming commenced until it happened. I climbed into bed with my useless sister and at age four spent the night with horrid fear.

At least she must have said something......................No one ever asked about me.

I have been estranged from my family forever as a result. i tried to do what is right and invited them to my wedding - the younger sister claimed my departure from the family as the reason for 13 years of MD - this happened at my wedding, she wandered off and told me, the 45 year old bride, that she couldn't stop crying.

I am so glad that for some people it is possible to care about their parents - mine are disdainful, for so many reasons in addition to what I have described in this post.

With many thoughts and memories Basteless and Odin

Re: Emotional pain

I haven't applied for it @Bast, doctor is willing to write it,but the way I feel think I'm stuffed either way, been on medical certificates past two months due to a high level of anxiety I've had before, ends tomorrow.
Been keeping myself busy to avoid thinking about my pathetic life and existence.
I have a mother who has caused me much stress and pain in my life, and I took a gamble to get my own life to escape the choker chain around my neck only to fail and end up loosing everything including my dignity and self respect.
Sorry your upbringing wasn't a better one, @Bast,one of the problems I have is my mother is a trigger. To go on carers,I feel I am surrendering to giving my life away.
