Well yesterday I hardly left my bed (and wasn’t even online really). Was seriously just trying to not have an all-out panic attack. Today I did some chores around the house and even went to the shops. I’m not working atm and my daughter is in SA (visiting mid-Jan) so I spend a lot of time online or reading books.

it can be hard. i dont work either. im stay at home mum with 3 kids 8,7 and 5 year old. hubby is a truck driver so works very long hours so is barely home. so its just me and the kids most of the time

@gypsylee pleased to meet you.i don't work either and have been told I ever will again.
This isy first Christmas since my illness took over my life that I have stayed out of emergency rooms and hospitals
I say this is let you know you're not alone.
I have social workers from the mental health unit contracting me to make sure I'm still here
I'v spent the last two days in bed.
Can't stay awake during the day
Can't sleep at night.
@Bubbles3 you have your hands full with kids that age. My youngest is mid teens

Hey, really nice to meet you, @Awpgirl. I hope you’re getting the help you need in hospital. Forums like this have been one of my saviours over the last couple of years because depression has a hell of a way of making you feel SO alone.
@Bubbles3 I just have the one 16yo daughter
