Re: Taking the plunge
Morning @Maggie and hi everyone.
I did the car thing and it went well thanks. It cost me but not as much as the pessimist in me had prepared for. I pick it up this morning so we're a big step closer to going away - woohoo!
I also had a really good day at work yesterday too thanks. I've been taught a new data trick to pull all kinds of bonkers data and sort through it. Surprisingly I really enjoy that part of the work and am decent at it too so I'm looking forward to getting stuck in to that. I chip away at it in between other things during a shift so it won't swallow me up in a swamp of numbers 🤓 I had a meeting with my manager and got feedback on the way I've been working and untangled some of the tricky stuff. Really helpful.
Today is looking OK too I think. Just work for me and takeaway for dinner.
How are you going? And how was your yesterday? Love seeing your dots ♥️ Thats very much real painting!
@NatureLover amazing painting. So so clever and beautiful 💜
Morning @Bunniekins and hi all ☕

Re: Taking the plunge
@CheerBear It has been a long winter. That’s something, coming from me, but it’s been a very cold one down this way, even with a heater. I feel excited about it being spring. Daffodils are out, and looking beautiful. I might get that garden pic done today.
Yes to the car being done, and not as expensive as you thought. Some cash for wood and fire in your little get away coming up. 👍👍👍All sounding super exciting.
The data stuff doesn’t excite me one bit @CheerBear . But it sounds tricky. I imagine it will make work easier for you, but if I was the driver, that wouldn’t be the case.
I like the way they give you feedback at work, and help with the tricky. Something work places really need everywhere I think. Sometimes, the only feedback is negative, not helpful at all.
I did some resin yesterday. It’s really does bring out the colours. I’ll put up the other one for you to see. It’s slightly off, which was annoying to start with. But it was an off day. Now, I like it for that reason.

Re: Taking the plunge
@NatureLover I was, and still am stuck for words. Your response yesterday was so warm and caring, so much appreciated. When you need words the most, they are not there. Just letting you know how much your words meant. Thankyou.
I hope today, the first day of spring, means you will be able to walk in nature, and breathe in its beauty. Take care. 💕💜🌸💐🌹🌺🌿🌲🌳

It's super odd that I like the data stuff. Maybe it feels like mess I can organise and actually do something with 🤔 Totally not everyone's cup of tea though.
It's taken me a while to be OK with the feedback stuff but it is helpful and keeps me in check. My manager person is very skilled at giving constructive feedback so it's usually really helpful.
Looking forward to your pic coming through! Resin would definitely bring out the colours and sparkles. I like that you like the off-ness. It can feel good embrace the wonky sometimes, instead of fight it.
I have an early start with my car so I'm going to run. It was nice to briefly bump in to you.
Happy spring everyone ♥️ Hope there's a bit of colour in the day for all 🌈

Thank you - I'm excited, as there's sun this morning and it's the first day of spring, so I can't wait to get outside in it!
I also like that you like the fact your painting didn't go perfectly. 🙂 I think it's gorgeous.
I hope today is a kind and gentle one for you @Maggie 💜
@CheerBear thank you for your kind words 💙 Happy spring to you too!
