Your counsellor is a gem. I can see and hear and feel how hard it is for you at the moment. For what it's worth, I'm not going anywhere either. You are valued, worthy and matter, just how you are.
Did student come yesterday?
Is your appt face to face? Everything crossed.
Yes it's moving which is tough to see. The anti Melbourne/Melbournians hurts and I think the chest beating will come back to bite some. It feels totally out of control here now. Hard to imagine it getting better and not spreading far and fast.
Morning @Faith-and-Hope ❤☕

Got a lump in throat, and a few tears reading your post @CheerBear . It’s worth heaps, honestly, big heaps. 💞💞💞
I think your workplace sound exceptionally caring, both of you, and those you all help. They value you. I don’t think there is a better environment, than one that instills value in each other. It’s contagious, kindness in action. We are proud of you little Bear. 💞
No student this week @CheerBear . She has something on everyday. Making the most of the freedom. Might be short lived, but hope not. Back into it next week.
Yes, face to face appointment today. A fowwow up from the phone appointment a few weeks ago. I was very surprised it happened as fast as it has.
Yes, spreading fast. Scary stuff.
How is today looking?

Morning @Maggie @CheerBear .... 👋☕️💕
I am actualky hoping to drift back off to sleep sometime soon as I have been awake the last few hours.
It is getting a bit scary in this neck of the woods.

I really hope your freedom isn't short lived there either. It's dark here, and scary as you said @Faith-and-Hope. I've spoken with many who are finding it much harder this time. Wondering how and when and even if it might end. Stage four is being talked about lots. It would be devastating.
It's so great to hear they acted quickly and you have a follow up today. Do you have anyone going with you?
Today is looking OK. Big has to pick up books from school as it will be closed soon, though I don't want Big to be out or near school and so many people. We also might try and find more fabric, a different kind, for masks. Though the idea of going out and potentially exposing ourselves to a bug we are tying to avoid by going out to get fabric doesn't make sense 🤨😑Other than that, I have some research for a presentation I am working on, to chip away at. And some bits and pieces of admin for work if I want to. Probably washing and some games with Little. No school helps so we'll enjoy it while we can.
Hope sleep comes soon @Faith-and-Hope ❤

I see the devastation overseas @CheerBear mass graves. It’s an invisible invader. No one can see it coming. Yes it is scary. None of us can be complacent about this.
Taking care when you go out is important. It’s a catch, as you need things to do at home, that needs the materials necessary. Round and round it goes.
I saw a program mask vs face shields. So much research going on, still no antivirus med. it’s a big bug.
Sounds like a busy day ahead @CheerBear . Presentation sounds interesting. Do you speak to the whole team, or a group outside ?

Re: Taking the plunge
Presentation is interesting but scary. It's to take the training I have been doing and pass it on to other supervisors and managers. Bit bonkers to think of giving info to those who taught and teach me.

Re: Taking the plunge
It’s a hard situation at the moment @CheerBear. We are flooding with information, and need to be aware of risks. It’s getting a healthy ( though that word here seriously sucks) balance. It’s important to talk about it, but not obsess. How to achieve that, is another learning curve.
I can imagine the presentation feeling a tad strange. I suppose the reality is, we are all learning from each other, no matter where our position in life might be. Being open, not threatened. That’s something I value in counsellor. She’s never above anyone, always beside. It’s a refreshing experience for me.
You are valued and valuable little Bear. 🐻🐻🐻
