Re: Taking the plunge
It was My whole life @NatureLover . I still have faith, just not in a particular section of people. The whole church walked out on me when I broke down. You would think I had learnt my lesson. I had to go the second round. Down for the count now. But, a seed is planted, Ive got them scratching their heads. Even if they are not yet aware of the itch.
Thankyou for understanding. I just wish you didn’t have to hurt in the same ways. Big hug. 💜💜

Oh gosh, it was the same for me @Maggie .
I never went the second round...I just left it all behind. So hats off to you for trying a second time, and planting a few seeds. I can see why it would be even more heartbreaking the second time 😞
Thanks for your kind words 💜

Re: Taking the plunge
Pain has changed me @NatureLover , sadly, I outgrew the narrow belief system, the religious thinking, the fear. I think I faced hell head on, what’s to lose after that. But my heart is with the broken, the ‘me ‘ pain I see in the lives of so many. I don’t need to go to church to find the ones I love and choose to sit with anymore. I hoped to find change, but it was me who had changed. I just needed to know, now I do.
You are a beautiful soul. It shines through your posts. Lots of 💜💜💜

It sounds like you went through the absolute pits... But I'm glad to hear you outgrew these things, especially the fear. It's been 12 years and I still have some lingering religious fear.
I can see you have a huge heart for the broken, @Maggie ...and you're right, you don't need a church to do that work of loving others in.

Re: Taking the plunge
Yesterday was fab thanks. Great day. Some challenges and new situations, but nothing I couldn't handle. I'm getting involved in recruitment and interviewing which is a huge yay. I'll take part in my first interview soon with my manager, with the plan that within a couple of weeks I'll be doing one myself. Full circle moment 😊
How was your yesterday?

@CheerBear You are striding it out these days. Go girl. 👍👍This job is the best thing for you. They see, and train, you potential and gifts. Who knows where this will lead. Yes, I am getting carried away. 😁😁
I spoke with counsellor on the phone yesterday. Some honest sharing. I put everyone in the ‘ dont Want you ‘ basket when I get like this. She just lets me know she’s not going anywhere. I just need to believe her now.
I had a good time painting. Two stones half done.
I have a specialist appointment at the hospital this afternoon. Not getting my hopes up, but it’s movement. At the moment, that’s a plus.
NSW are tightening restrictions. It’s moving.
