Re: Taking the plunge
Awful @CheerBear to both.
How did you spend your yesterday? Did any crafts happen?
I have had deliveries from spotlight, that might be worth a think. But not if you need to see and touch beforehand. Not sure about Bunnings, last time the delivery cost was ridiculous.

Re: Taking the plunge
Oh no @Maggie 🙁 Anything in particular happen, or is it everything that's going on?
I spent yesterday not getting the groceries as there was a stuff up with my order :face_with_rolling_eyes: And then I picked up something. I'm excited to show you.
I called police line, then DHS to get an OK, then drove through a roadblock to get it (and am so glad I was in the batch if cars being waved through because I was so anxious I think I would have thrown up if I'd been stopped even though I got the OK 😆), then kept distance from my people and stayed outside. So our house is chaos now as we move the furniture around again. I love it and am so happy with the way it turned out, the space and the fresh look.
I've been looking at Bunnings delivery and click and collect but they don't do it for timber. Trying to work out if I could go in just for the timber and hace the rest delivered. Bunnings was packed when I drove past yesterday. It's hard not to have the why bothers happening. I'll have a look at delivery for spotlight too. Tricky with colours as it's a see kind of one as you mentioned, but better than not having things maybe.
How is your today looking?

Can’t see pic yet @CheerBear but feel really excited. 😁😁
I think spotlight cost $9 delivery, which is average in most places I think. But, I get the colour stuff. Tricky drive. I can imagine the nerves etc.
Sorry about the stuffy up with your grocery order. Does that mean today that might happen. I’ve been putting off ordering, I’ll get to it when the cupboard are bare.
Yes, just the stuff going on with me @CheerBear , it’s knocked me into a dark place. I tried the virus excuse, but there was 5 mths before that, and there was no response, not even to the book. I will work through it, but the process sucks.
I might spend some time in the garden. I have a patch out the back that get no sun, summer or winter, so I’m digging, and come spring, I will plant ferns there.

Re: Taking the plunge
I will pick up the groceries this morning. I momentarily exploded on the phone, then apologised as it wasn't the fault of the person I was speaking to. We ended up having a lovely chat about the bug and the impact the we were both feeling.
The checkpoint was bonkers. Hard to imagine a time that there's a checkpoint between us and our people. It felt scary and extra sad 🙁
I wish there was a way to make the people see who they're missing out on and what damage has happened, through the silence. Sitting with you in the darkness ❤
Digging the patch sounds like a great way to spend some time. Do you have the ferns? My grandma has so many in her little garden. Ferns remind me of her and of times I spent with her as a little one.
Hahaha I'm so following along. I speak all kinds of 'don't have my glasses on', keyboard fairies, typos, roundabout talk... 😁

I was giggling misinterpreting my own posts @CheerBear 😂😂😂😂
Your Home/office is sounding lovely @CheerBear. I was sooooo hoping it was the desk. Looking forward to work tomorrow is such a plus with all the big stuff going on. Window open felt a bit chilly though. But in saying that, I love fresh air.
I think one positive in my present situation, is it’s not been a long time investment. I went in to it, and headed straight to the hard stuff on purpose. MI , little black dress years, abuse. So I did set the stage. It was no use being somewhere that couldn’t understand. At least now I know. It’s not just sadness for me I feel, but others too. It’s supposed to be a place of comfort for all, not just the chosen few.
No, counsellor and I are heading to the garden shop sometime before spring to get ferns but I’m preparing the ground, as it was very patchy grass. Cardboard boxes have broken it all down, so I just have to dig it. Therapeutic at the moment. 👍👍
Keyboard fairies @CheerBear 👍👍👍💞💞💞
