Giggle sounded pretty great @Maggie 😆

How are you this morning? How did counsellor go yesterday?

❤ to all

Re: Taking the plunge

It was a hard meeting yesterday with counsellor @CheerBear. But I made a decision and followed it through. That was a good, ( kind of ) feeling.

How is your weekend looking. Things are looking very stressful in your area.

Re: Taking the plunge

It sounded like it was going to be tough, given how things have been for you @Maggie. Can you/would you like to share anything about the decision? It's OK if you don't though. Sometimes before the decision is harder than after one is made, I find at least. It's hard either way 🙁

Things are :pile_of_poo: here. Yesterday was tough. It feels like it is lingering everywhere now and closing in. Kid's school was closed (not yesterday but recently), a sibling's workplace closed recently too (an aged care facility). Looking in to masks here which a situation none of us want. My building and tools aren't essential and neither are craft supplies. Not with numbers like we have at the moment. That was my hard hitting realisation yesterday.

How is today looking for you?

Re: Taking the plunge

@CheerBear I realised that after posting yesterday. Numbers are climbing, and the safest place is home. I can well imagine it feeling like :pile_of_poo::pile_of_poo:. Why does the :pile_of_poo: look so happy?? It was hard hitting seeing it @CheerBear , let alone, being in the midst of it. I know you are very sensible, and will take care of you, the crew and sib, it’s concerning all the same.

I sent an email saying I won’t be returning to church. I felt a need to put it out there. I received a call from a lovely lady, but she said she didn’t know how to support me or what to say. WTF. I could go into a complete over the top rave, but I would hate myself for it, so better leave it at that. I did feel better for saying something and not just disappearing. Josh it feels like a huge rejection though. Back in the fitting nowhere cage, I outgrew the basket. 😒😒😒

Re: Taking the plunge

I didn't get this notification, sorry @Maggie.

I feel super sad about not being able to do the building and crafting that gives me an escape and makes things feel doable. It's my way of coping I guess. I don't think school will go back so there's literally no escape or break or moment of time out. It's all twisted. I'm sad about the things I'm sad about, but I know we have it easy and good compared to many. I'm sad about not spending time with people but I know it's safest. I'm sad and stressed about the idea of no school, but desperately hoping they close schools because I don't want mine going in the middle of all of this. Twisty 😖

Far out that's huge with the email. And with the call from lovely lady. Will you hear from the pastor? I am so sorry Maggie. There's a lot of loss in the whole situation. Lost hope of fitting in and hope of acceptance stands out big time. It was a mega step and a brave one, for you to put yourself out there as you have. I'm truly sorry 😔

Re: Taking the plunge

I don’t expect to hear from the pastor @CheerBear. Her silence has said volumes. I’m sorry too , not jusf for me, but for others feeling the same as I do. I’ll sit with it for a while, nothing more I can do. It rocks self worth and any value I am scraping to find anywhere. Big loss, for sure.

I do crafts as a way of coping @CheerBear, so I know exactly what you mean. I get the school stuff too. I would do the same. It’s all beyond comprehension, this bug. It’s ripping the guts out of so many, in a multitude of ways. Big hug 💞💞💞💞 I know it changes nothing, but I’m sitting with through this.

Re: Taking the plunge

I'm really, really sorry too @Maggie. I was hoping so hugely for you and for the wider world, that you'd have some message that you're worthy and valued, because you are and because we should all belong. You're right in the silence speaking volumes. I'm angry and hurt with you.

Huge sigh Maggie. Sitting with you and here for you (even though I am super hit and miss at the moment - I am sorry for that too).

I have groceries to pick up soon. Delivery was three days away 😑 Trying my first go at click and collect because I don't want to be at the supermarket at the moment. Bug everywhere and no stock anyway. No thanks.

I'd better fly. I hope your day has some good in it. Mega love ❤
