Re: Taking the plunge

Sorry @Maggie. I got talking to well one and trying to work out how the kids will do school today from here. We're having a test run in a way, of kids doing school from the country in case my people have then while I am at work when I start (which might happen). I'll have some breathing space this week I think.

I was wondering how counsellor went. I know it feels like snowballing sometimes but I wonder if unraveling can be so deep inside and so slow that it seems like it doesn't happen when it actually does but you just can't see it yet. I think I need to believe that anyway. I hear you with every bit matters. It does for me too.

Stone painting was a bit annoying. I struggle with the larger size. I did make a couple in a mould but I am finding they are becoming quite holey (just after saying they don't :face_with_rolling_eyes:). I wonder if it is the weather? We will be here until Big finishes her school day today, so after I finish training and the younger ones finish school I might get a chance to play. Gaudy and strange looking sounds cool! Are they shareable?

How's today looking for you? Cleaning lady? I have gardeners coming tomorrow 👍

And haha ⬆️ 😂 Mine too

Re: Taking the plunge

Just done an IGA run ( ha ha) walk. @CheerBear .

If kids can be with well and unwell people, that might take some pressure off you. 🤞🤞🤞 Learning the ropes is/might be tricky. Finding a comfort zone takes time in newish places. I really hope this is more than you are hoping for @CheerBear

Yes, it’s the melting and snowballing, there must be a middle ground, maybe that the sinking sand. I think I ran out of bags. Tricky. Where does intuition feel ok in a chaotic, overthinking twisted mind. Nothing simple, that’s for sure.

I had some holes in my second batch @CheerBear . I mixed it with my hand this time, making sure it was blended well, but gently. I found this lot came out ok, but it might just be luck. They are dry now, so ready for painting, when I get confident enough to do them.

I will show and tell my yesterday ‘s painting, if only for a giggle. 😂😂

No cleaning lady today. She comes every fortnight. Definitely kitchen hunting. I might do a bit in the garden, it’s warmish this morning.

Gardener tomorrow @CheerBear 👍👍👍👍

I hope your day is a good one. 💜💜💜

Morning @Maggie and anyone who might be up 👋

How are you going this morning?

Re: Taking the plunge

Ok so far @CheerBear sitting up in bed. Lol.

I achieved a few things yesterday. A bit of tree freeing, more on the rose removing, another work in progress. I managed to unpick my curtains, without a quick unpick, and pin them up. Waiting for a sewing machine urge to hit could take a while. 😁😁😁

Did school from country work?

You have gardening help today. 👍👍👍

How are you holding up under so much happening?

Re: Taking the plunge

I was in bed also until a moment ago @Maggie. Woke up next to Mr Person which I enjoy.

You were busy yesterday! That's awesome!. What do you think brought that all on? Or was it one of those days where things just kind of worked and you got on a roll?

School from country worked really well (would thumbs up etc but am using my tablet). There was plenty of space for them all to stay out of each others way. Nice to have had a test run of it.

I am holding up really well so far thanks (I don't know this person!). It will be different again when school and office work go back, but this is an OK in between place for now I think. Really hoping the crew go OK while I do the next stretch of training and work which is four very full and long days. So far it's been OK though so hopefully it can stay that way. Thank you for checking in there (hearts - lots of them).

I am looking at the apricot tree having lost so many leaves. It's a huge circle of yellow on the ground. Very pretty.

How's your day looking today?

Re: Taking the plunge

I’m so pleased you have Mr Person by your side @CheerBear . I know you have others, but a special one is, wellllllll......special. 💜💜👍👍👍👍

Yesterday was a roll kind of think, but sick of myself also. I think the sick of myself led to one, then another and so on. Getting to the end of the day having achieved a few things is a good feeling. Now another day today. 🤔🤔🤔

So good test run for school went well. That’s one less worry. Restrictions lifted just in time.

You’ve got this @CheerBear , even when you think you haven’t. Big smile reading ‘ I don’t know this person’. 💚💚💚💚💚 lots of thoughts with that one, but no words adequately describe them, but I think you will get the gist. Mushy stuff. 💙💙💙💙

We have a few trees looking beautiful atm. Amazing colours. I might have to do a leaf kicking ( shuffling) 😁 walk. 🍁🍁🍂🍂

Re: Taking the plunge

Back to mobile and emojis @Maggie. Way better 😉👍🎉

It was so good having him over last night. The kids and him haven't seen each other since the lockdown started and they were all happy to catch up again. He brought over a movie we couldn't get our hands on (bought it from overseas) and maltesers to add to popcorn, so he was a big winner last night haha. He's very kind and gentle. This (us) might be something that goes some distance maybe. Either way it feels good for now.

I can very much relate to those days where you get so sick of yourself then get on a roll. I enjoy them and the feeling at the end of the day. I hope it's the start of a little shift out of the sinking sand and dark and twisty for you. It's tough to be there for a while. Also hope you're not too sore after doing it all yesterday 🤞

I very much get and appreciate the gist, thank you. My support coordinator warned me about the tricky that can come with periods of stability when instability is the norm. Hard to trust it can last but maybe, mayyyybe it will. Maybe if it doesn't last the next dip won't be quite so deep or long though. I've noticed over time that the dips haven't been as long lasting but they have definitely been pretty deep. Perhaps the next piece of the puzzle is to work on the depth. Jumbled speak but thinking you get the gist now.

Leaf kicking reminds me of being little and loving gumboots and flying leaves! The gardeners might end this batch of leaves today but these trees seem to be never ending leaf dropped at this time of the year. It will be nice to have the yard freshly mowed then covered in Autumn 😊🍂🍃❤

Do you have any want-to-dos today? On my list is sorting out school tours for one and moving some kids furniture (little table and stools) into my room and a big chair out of my room, so another can do school in there while I am working. Our whole house has been jumbled with the school-from-home thing. It's amazing that it's worked and that we've made lots of spaces in such a small space.

Re: Taking the plunge

Big appreciation you asking ( caring ) about pain after yesterday. @CheerBear . Hobbling so far, sore painful fingers plus. But moving is the best thing, just knowing when to stop, which no one ever gets right,

I have a Tai Chi DVD. I’m hoping to do some each day. It’s good for pain and depression. We’ll see. .???

Movie, popcorn and Maltese’s would win me over for sure @CheerBear . He does sound kind and thoughtful, I love the gentle.. I hope there’s distance here for all of you. 🤞🤞🤞🤞

I have heard others say the dips were not as low, long or dark @CheerBear . Someone recently said they laugh at the storm. Foreign thinking to me, but humans can amaze with what they can achieve. Being prepared ( if that’s possible ), maybe aware is better, might be the helpful place. Yea, I get the gist.

Yes, I really want to get that rose bush out today @CheerBear . My saw is way to big for the job, but it’s all I have. Lol. Of course it’s out front where all the other neighbors can see. Entertaining.😂😂😂😂

I hope school space sorting goes well. Hard find corners when there are few. You are doing well in so many ways.
