Re: Taking the plunge

Takeaway is a really good idea. 👍👍

What colour hair ( if you want to share that is ). I have coloured my hands. 😂😂

Ink doesn’t come off like acrylic paint. I think I am wearing more than the tiles.

Enjoy your evening, and a job well done. 👍👍💙💙

Catch you at dawn.

Re: Taking the plunge

Morning @Maggie. Coffee very needed and appreciated, thank you. I was up late trying to find my words on my computer.

Ink does not come off like paint, no 😆😂 Did you enjoy doing the tiles? Show and tell?

Today is school, hair and hoping for more words. I'm thinking pink or purple for hair but am not sure. Any suggestions? 😁

How is today looking for you?

Thank you lots for your support ❤

Re: Taking the plunge

I saw your worry room post @CheerBear . I know this is super tough. All the voices pulling at your confidence. But please push through, fight through. Think of what you would say to one of your crew if they were facing this challenge. I/ we believe in you. 💙💙💙🥇🥇🥇🏆🏆🏆

Yes to the ink not coming off, and wow, going everywhere. 😂😂😂 I’m not happy with what I’ve done, so I’ll be wasting it off and having another go today. I saw where you can do a shadow effect. Impressive.

My choice for hair would be purple, but I’m a purple/blue girl. Could you do both???

I’m heading for the vacuum cleaner this morning, but in small doses. I have some tidying to do......always.

My second coming up. Do you need a top up. ☕️☕️☕️

Re: Taking the plunge

I struggled with it badly last night @Maggie. It's so frustrating that it's so much harder to do things than it used to be. Thank you for seeing and hearing. I think I will feel a bit better generally once it's over and done with.

It's so watery and spilly and would stick to everthing! How fun (but full on)! I hope to see your creation sometime but understand if it might take a bit to share.

I wish i could share what my hair has just looked like for a couple of months, especially after your comment above. It's probably been my favourite. I have done a few colours at once before but only once or twice has it looked decent. I could go electric blue maybe 🤔 I haven't done that for ages.

I hope the vacuum cleaner goes well enough that little doses is all it needs. How are the aches today?

Top up would be fab, thanks ❤

Morning @Former-Member 💚 Interested in hearing how you are doing, but no pressure either.

Re: Taking the plunge

Electric blue 👍👍👍💙💙

I know things are much harder than before @CheerBear . I know your confidence has taken a beating, putting it mildly. Once it’s done, you can put your mind at ease. Hearing you. 👂👂

It is fun @CheerBear . My hands are shocking pink around the nails, blue/green in patches. 😂😂

My hands feels better today. It’s something you don’t realise you’ve over done, till you over do it. Frustrating. But at least I can do most things, some with this can’t

Leaves are challenging colours and falling @CheerBear . It’s beautiful outside under trees. Maybe you could do autumn hair. 🤔🤔.

Re: Taking the plunge

I was pondering it all and think that my confidence has taken a beating @Maggie. I think I might seem outwardly confident, or at least I try to, but inside I am usually full of doubt and second guessing. It's incredible how much I have changed in that way over the last years 🙁. Stretching that comfort zone feels scary. I made some progress with it late last night and am almost looking forward to revisiting it again today with some very rough draft happening now.

Yay for shocking pink and blue/green hands. They're the best kind of hands 😜😆😂 My pjs and the dining room table are covered in paint. It's nice to have a table I don't need to worry about because the crew have already trashed it 😁

Glad to hear your hands feel better today. One of my people struggles with hands similar and says the same - that they don't realise they've overdone it until it is too late. It would make the simplest things super hard and really take some of the enjoyment out of things 🙁

I have neon orange in my bag of funky colours. That's autumn-ish maybe 🤔

We also have many boxes of chalk now after the last of the chalk order arrived yesterday. I giggled at myself for the somewhat over-the-top ordering out of complete frustration there. We have enough chalk that any future grandbabies of mine might be able to still use some 😂 I got a notification that concrete powder is on it's way too! YAY!

I am going to make another strong cup and hunt for some motivation in it. I hope today has some good in it for you 💖

Re: Taking the plunge

Curious how you went with the ink and vacuum @Maggie, and @CheerBear how you went with the application and crew-wrangling today.

I saw a post that various people have been sharing on facebook that said:
"Dear Parents,
Don't stress about schoolwork. When school returns, we will get your children back on track. We are teachers and that's our superpower. What we can't fix is social-emotional trauma that prevents the brain from learning. So right now, we just need you to share your calm, share your strength, and share your laughter with your children. No kids are ahead. No kids are behind. Your children are exactly where they need to be.
With love,
All the teachers on planet Earth"
