Re: Taking the plunge

Morning @outlander. How are you this morning?

Tough for you @Former-Member, with Dad and hubby 🙁 Not a lot of words but a lot of worry with you.

I hope your craft and wardrobe culling gives you a little bit of feel good ❤

Re: Taking the plunge

Still not sure how I am today yet @CheerBear ! Some mornings I have a hangover from my night meds (not every day which is odd but good). Not much planned for the day so far. But aim at being online less than yesterday so doing some other gentle activities like colouring or crochet or writing, and also want to get on the ex bike again. My legs were so sore from it yesterday - showed me how out of condition I am since the break from tai chi classed. Dr friends of bro are advising to do things for lung and heart health at the moment to lesson symptoms of any respiratory ailments .... not that any of us have even a cold at this stage (touch wood!).

How is your day looking?

Re: Taking the plunge

That's tough with the hangover from meds @eth. My prn will do that. It makes it tricky to start the day.

Sounds like you have a couple of enjoyable thinhs to do if you'd like today. What would you be crocheting? (Crochet caught my eyes!).

I have my job application and resume to work on today. Mr Friend stayed over but will head home early-ish today so we'll spend a little time together before he goes. I'm hoping at least two of the kids will get to school for at least the next 2 days so I'll try and prepare stuff for that (lunches, uniforms etc). That's about it for me 🙂

Re: Taking the plunge

@CheerBear Lol crocheting a scarf I started 2 winters ago!! I find it quite boring doing the same stitch row after row, might turn it into one of those circular ones if you know what I mean. If I do that then it's about 3/4 done now. Mines in a dark purple. Purple is a bit of a theme here in my wardrobe, linen etc..

Good luck getting your job app and cv finished. When is the app due by?

Reading between the lines it sounds like things have settled for Mr Friend. Hope that's the case.

Re: Taking the plunge

Ooooh that's super nice @eth! I remember you mentioning working on this scarf I think. Great time to get on to it so hopefully you can have it by winter 🙂

App is due in a few days. Stressing but worth it.

Mr Friend kept distracted and busy yesterday which I think helped him. His parents got in touch with me yesterday (sent me a few texts) to keep some contact between us. It was nice 🙂

I'm glad for you that you have a connection with his parents @CheerBear That would be a good thing for all of you I'm sure.
