Re: Taking the plunge

Wow @CheerBear that’s huge. Well done both for getting there and enjoying it.

I’m not sure if sane was broken this morning, or if most are enjoying the day off. Anyway, I was ghosting around. 😂😂😂

The cake sounds out of this world. Wow. You are very creative. I wouldn’t know where to start with that kind of stuff. 👍👍

I’m hoping for a better day today. Washing is on, then washing up is waiting. After that , I really want to find some colour, it’s been dark. I wish I wasn’t so good at the dark, but it’s always close by. Anyway, I have a colour from last week I’ll put on the craft thread later.

How is the flu going and asthma.? Any improvement? Really hope so.

No lunches today.

I hope today is good to you. ❤️❤️❤️

Re: Taking the plunge

Thanks @Maggie. It was epic! I'm just reading about the game and what a crowd like that meant for women's sport. Goosebumps. 86,000 people - the biggest crowd at a womens cricket match ever and Australia's biggest crowd at a women's sport event. Only 4000 off the world record for any women's sporting event in the world. So cool to have been part of and very cool to have been able to get Little and Big there 😊

Sorry it's been dark for you🙁 I hear you with the tricky in being good at the dark. I'm really looking forward to seeing some colour in crafty corner!

I'm feeling much better thanks. Still have a bit of a cough and can grt tired but it's nothing compared to how I was feeling.

Something else - Middle managed the MRI. They flipped a bit, no more than I'd expect anyone might. They moved around a bit though so apparently the pics aren't great but hopefully enough to see what is needed. We go back to the dr tomorrow to hopefully find out it's fine 🤞🤞🤞

Re: Taking the plunge

It’s been a huge weekend @CheerBear. Major successes. 👍👍

I can’t even imagine the atmosphere at the game, but what an incredible memory for all of you, 2 out of 3 also.

At last the flu is moving. I hope this week is a much better one all round.

I hope the MRI pics are enough to show a break or not. Not pleasant experiences with those myself. Tough for little people. 🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞for dr tomorrow.

Its all the self talk which is hard to sort out what is true or false. The negative fit too well, positive don’t hang around for long. Mush trying to figure it out.

Hows today looking? Is it a relaxing kind of day?

Re: Taking the plunge

Sorry @Maggie. Got a bit busy.

I wish there was a way of making the positive self talk louder and stickier than the negative 😏

Today is very much a quieter day today here. I have two sleeping teenagers still, a Middle on their way back home shortly and a Little going slow too. I'm planning on tackling our jungle backyard today. I managed to get the front yard done last weekend but was too cough-ish to do the back too. It's going to be a big job with all the rain we've had :face_with_rolling_eyes: Washing for me today also.

I hope there's some good in your day ❤

Re: Taking the plunge

Hey @CheerBear yes all good here so far today. Gradually ticking things off my list. Had to sort out my monthly budget report re NDIS spending because a speech pathologist I've never had billed me over $500 and my plan manager has appointed a new admin. who has taken over my case. And is slower to respond than she was, which is frustrating.

How's your day going so far?

Re: Taking the plunge

Hi @Maggie @CheerBear @eth.

My morning was less than pleasant but picked up a bit in the afternoon. Inversely proportional to the amount of rain though so I might not be able to get a bike ride in this week. Looking forward to a chocolate-and-hiding evening which probably won't involve doing any pushups like I'd planned. I wanted to make curry but would have to have it with quinoa because no rice. Unless I make naan or something but that's too much effort for me at the moment.

It's good just with toast @TheVorticon

Re: Taking the plunge

@TheVorticon I’m not sure how your day ended up yesterday, with chocolate or curry. Whichever the choice, I hope it was enjoyable. 👍👍

Has the rain stopped this morning.? We had a light shower.

Sending some 💜💜💜💜 your way today.
