Re: Taking the plunge

How's your day been @Maggie? I am taking a quiet forum stopover between housework. Nice to see you here at the same time 🙂

Big yay for leftover soup @TheVorticon! I have 1, maybe 2, bowls leftover. Very much looking forward to it again tonight 🙂

Just saw your pic @Maggie (speedy mod, thanks!). So cute. Big smile 😊😆

Re: Taking the plunge

@TheVorticon Not much happening here. Quiet thank goodness.

Soup goes a long way. I now have celery soup ready to freeze. 👍👍👍

I hope your afternoon is peaceful. Raining all day here. A good inside day. 🌧🌧💙💙

Housework @CheerBear. Not long before crew pickup. Will you be going to soccer tonight. ?? Very wet here. Muddy clothes if you go, I expect. 😕😕

Very quiet one here. No energy. I hope you are doing ok. 💛💛💛💛

Re: Taking the plunge

The rain is easing up now so soccer may still be on tonight @Maggie, though not for the one with their arm in plaster 😏 There will be mud everywhere I imagine, including the freshly mopped floors and scrubbed shower :face_with_rolling_eyes:

Glad it's a quiet one for you. No energy can make it tough ❤

Re: Taking the plunge

Oh no @CheerBear to mud everywhere, after freshly mopped floors.

I hope there is a dry area to sit and watch soccer?? Sad for the one with the plastered arm. 😔😔

I don’t know what has happened to my energy levels today. It must have been harder than I thought yesterday.

Rain is easing here now also. Windy now.

Take care tonight. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Re: Taking the plunge

Plastered arm one is sad also @Maggie 🙁 They have to have an MRI on the weekend as the xray people weren't sure if what they saw was a new fracture or an old one. Kid is very nervous, understandably. Small space and loud noises will be very challenging for them 😔 Everything crossed it's a previous fracture and they'll be out of plaster and kicking a ball around again next week 🤞 For now, if we do get to training, there's a seat next to me to sit on in the form of a very cool camping chair 👍

Yesterday must have been hard, especially given you started the day feeling like this too I think. Furbaby's persistence at ridiculous o'clock perhaps hasn't helped either. Hoping you are finding some comfort in the quiet ❤

Re: Taking the plunge

Big sad for middle ( I think it’s middle), and the challenges ahead. I hope there will be some kicking ball next week. 🤞🤞🤞How are you managing all this with your flu and asthma?? @CheerBear . Juggling it all would be major pushing, with no energy to keep pushing.

Did Skype counselling go ok.?? Talking really does help. It does me anyway. Get some muddle outside of my overworked grey matter, it’s not the hair I’m meaning either. 😂😂😂😂

Yes, fur baby was very persistent. It’s hard, as you never know if they need to GO!!! And I’d rather get up than clean up. 😐😐

Yes, Yesterday was tough. It’s hard knowing the struggles from inside. I think my friend is starting to feel depressed herself. Very understandable. I will always listen, that’s for sure. It can be underestimated, hearing with more than ears.

I have definitely enjoyed a very quiet day and now evening.

Thinking of you out in the wet. Take care. Catch you at dawn.💙💙💙

@eth I see you under the support button. ❤️❤️❤️

Re: Taking the plunge

Yes @CheerBear counsellor today.

Feeling much better today. My girl was out at 2.30 am, but no problems getting up this morning here.

How are you today?

Did soccer happen?

I wish someone could explain to me why there is a rush for toilet paper, and what connection it has to this super bug. 😳😳🥺🥺

Re: Taking the plunge

So glad you're feeling much better @Maggie ❤ And yay for counsellor day 😊

I am finally feeling less asthma-ish llast night and again today 🙏 The 3 day med helped which is such a relief. We have a big weekend and I was so overwhelmed thinking about doing it as unwell as I have been.

Soccer cancelled last night. Just quietly, I wasn't sad about that.

The whole world is bonkers Maggie. I was lost (and then some) at the supermarket the other evening. No flour, rice, pasta, salt, toilet paper, cereal getting low... It was the busiest I have seen it. Made it SO hard to be there just trying to do some grocery shopping for dinner.
