Re: Taking the plunge

Thanks for tips re puppy @utopia
Will look into it after I get through some huge things coming up. One is a social thing, which I'm supposed to plan and shop for. My socialising has been just shopping for a long time now 😂

Started pulling bathroom apart last year. It's still the same 😮 part of wall missing , no shower screen etc. Let's hope we both feel well enough to tackle our houses soon.

I need a nap now. 😮😊

Re: Taking the plunge

It was so good to chat with you too @Former-Member. I love my chats with you, @Maggie@Former-Member@utopia@Faith-and-Hopeand everyone.

I didn't know you had glandular fever @Former-Member. I don't know how I missed that! I too hope it's not that flaring up again - no wonder you feel so tired and lousy. And with all the stress on top - that's hard. It can take awhile for the immune system to overcome GF. Foods like garlic, citrus, ginger, turmeric, broccoli (raw), spinanch, bell pepper, almonds, seeds, blueberries, green tea and so forth are real immune system boosters. This has been helping me together with steering away from sugar, wheat, fats etc. I can understand your need to feel better to cope...it's hard s when we are physically ill to tackle life's curveballs. I hope you feel better soon and that our chats help 💕

I am so glad to see you on here @utopia - I have really missed you and our laughs.

Also good to see you @TAB. Sorry to read life is not kind to you presently. Here if you want to talk about it. How is your health now?

@Former-Member - so sorry to read that yesterday was especially hard for you 😔 I look forward to your post when you are up to writing. Thinking of you my friend 🌹

Re: Taking the plunge

@Maggie - I would of felt the same when in pain - I could not have hung around but just wanted to go home, take a pain killer and wait for the worst of it to past. Sitting and waiting in emergency is just not doable in some circumstances. It was not your fault - your doctor should of x-rayed that straight away. What if it had been cancer symptoms she missed? I am worried you are not in good hands medically. You are too special to have anything go wrong x

We have a lot in common too @Maggie. Our pasts, love for writing/music/cross stitch, diet, gardening and lifestyle. When you said to Bella "now I see beauty in small things and wonder", is exactly what I do when at my best. It's like tapping back into the innocence of childhood that was robbed from me and makes me feel better. Yes, the message of the soul that endures is very special. When all seems hard here that's where my mind goes to keep me going.

I have to share with you and anyone else who may be interested, the special dream I had last night. Normally I have nightmares but last night was different. I was a host at a party in an unfamiliar house that seemed to be mine. There was a huge backyard like a park and so many people were there. Some sitting on blankets with others, and some on tables and chairs - so many of them. There were a couple of African American man singing a beautiful song (you would of loved it!). I ended up singing with them and we all harmonised so beautifully. It felt so natural. The only words of of the song I can remember was "It's time to be happy - if only in your dreams". I felt such joy! They were reminding me to be happy!

Then I walked around the backyard and went past a young girl that gave me a knowing warm smile. I could sense she wanted to talk but I was busy cleaning up and hosting the event. I walked further up the yard and saw an old school friend who looked up and smiled. I can't describe the feeling of connectedness I experienced with everyone in the dream that I have never experienced in real life. It was like we were eggs in a beater mixed up - all were one with each other. There was no negativity - just felt so natural and loving without trying. No pain, sadness or worry - just natural joy and a great sense "of belonging". If only I could experience this in real life. It was such a special unusual dream that will stay with me for the rest of my life. I never felt so free and happy....and realised we are meant to be happy with each other.

So I am having a good day and have nearly finished all my housework. Even though it's hot I raced through it with ease. Yesterday I could not of done anything if my life depended on it. So making the most of a good day feeling the tail end of the joy of my special dream. If only they could be all like that. Sending much love ❤️

Re: Taking the plunge

I totally understand @utopia - it takes time to get back on our feet when having been so ill and it does takes time. I am over the moon to see you slowly working your way back and to read you are on the mend - we have missed you and I will look forward to our future talks. You are an inspiration to us here ❤️xx

Re: Taking the plunge

@Former-Member I'm seriously wondering if you had a glimpse of heaven last night. It sounds beautiful, music laughter, acceptance, no negativity. Hang onto that dream. I once read a book about a man who went to heaven, a true story, it was so beautiful in parts, nature, birds all the things we love. I seem to have crashed again so need to lie down, but just wanted to drop by and say hi.

@utopia Take it slowly if you can and some self care here and there, I have some chocolate, not often, but it's good sometimes. Thinking of you
