Re: Taking the plunge

No need trying to make any sense of it @CheerBear .

Yes counsellor this morning. 👍👍 You have a psych appointment I think, if my memory is correct.

I might head to my cave after that......forever......again.

Re: Taking the plunge

Yep psych today @Maggie. He's moved offices to somewhere completely different so I'm a little stressed about whether I'll make it on time with the traffic but we'll see.

Oh, it's a cave day after it and from then? Anything happen to prompt that?

Re: Taking the plunge

Tricky with traffic @CheerBear. I hope you get there on time. Lots to talk about.

Nothing prompted it, just a why bother, useless plus storm gathering. Sometimes I can’t be bothered fighting it.

Re: Taking the plunge

No plans for me today, other than maybe grocery shopping for necessities @CheerBear . Maybe join @Maggie in a cave day. Hope your respective counsellor/psych apts go well.

Plenty of room in the cave @Former-Member . Terrible company, but lots of room.

Sorry about the counsellor/psych talk, it’s a tough one for you atm. 💙💙💙💜💜

Re: Taking the plunge

🙁 That's tough @Maggie and I'm sorry you've got the why bothers happening. Sometimes I can't be bothered fighting it too. Resting in a cave can help. I'm thinking the heat might not be helping much at the moment. It starts to take a toll. Any space for painting today or are has the very dotted out continued this morning?

@Former-Member ❤ for your cave day also. What kinds of things do you have in your cave to comfort you (out of curiosity and only if you're interested in sharing)?

Re: Taking the plunge

Yes, I will splash a bit of colour around @CheerBear. Even if I see failure written all over it.

I’ll have a moan and groan this morning. Take the edge off.

I might head to the shower, always a good start.

Enjoy what you can of the day. 💛💛💛

@Former-Member 💛💛💛

Re: Taking the plunge

Good morning @Maggie @CheerBear @Former-Member

I would like to join you in the cave - for no other reason than I would miss you all if you didn't come out of the cave so joining you would fix that 💜💙💚🧡💛

Re: Taking the plunge

That message made me smile @Zoe7 ❤

I just looked at a kind of cool email from my psych. It's a job application. He's been very strongly encouraging me to look into joining an area mental health service (same big/broad organisation he is a senior clinician with but not working with him). He thinks I'd have a good chance at a job there and be well suited to the work. I have the experience and also some relevant qualifications as a bonus. After my confidence boost at my gig yesterday, I'm going to give it some serious thought instead of brushing it off as a "not ready" thing. My problem is that I'm scared (understatement) to take that next step though, anywhere. What if I'm too wonky or it gets too much? Am I reliable and stable enough? What if it all comes crashing down or gets taken away again? How do you know when you're OK to take that step? It's one thing to baby step but another to giant leap 😕

Lots to go over with him today.

Re: Taking the plunge

Could be a wonderful opportunity @CheerBear . Very normal to have doubts .. everyone does. Talk it over today, and think seriously about the offer.
