Shopping with big will hopefully be good @CheerBear . Looking hot your way today. Air con shopping 👍👍👍👍
Friend company is always a good break after such a busy day.
I’m working on small canvases. Another fundraiser before Easter, so doing different kind of stuff.
I get carried away with paint @CheerBear . I took some fish out of the freezer and started it cooking. Then mapped out the canvases. Went into the kitchen and, you guessed it, black fish. Lol.

Re: Taking the plunge
I'm feeling for the kids who aren't thrilled about the idea of school going back as it is and who have a hot and sticky day ahead. They'll have an indoor timetable today too which few really enjoy. They struggled to sleep in the hot house last night and it will be hot again tonight and tomorrow (and the day after) too. By the weekend they'll be megaly feral I think 😏😑
Friend company was super cool. Chatting, debriefing about our days etc. The crew very briefly met friend which felt OK and kind of good. Obviously my crew are a massive part of my life and it feels nice when I get to connect names and stories with actual people 🙂
The fundraisers are very cool and I imagine something nice to focus on (if it doesn't feel like pressure). 👍 for canvas 🙂 Will you be doing some more today?
Oh dear with black fish. I get a bit lost in things when I do them sometimes too.
Oops forgot the tag @Maggie

So no air con in your home @CheerBear 😡😡😡 Really hard with summer being this fierce. I can imagine full on megaly feral weekend, after indoor activities.
Connections are important. Crew and friend relationship will be super important to you. It’s happening slowly and manageable, so looking good there I think. 👍👍
You would love my counsellor @CheerBear. She has been gently pushing the gender equality wheelbarrowing uphill for a long time. Every little bit helps break through walls of tradition.
Yes, I hope to finish the two canvases I started yesterday.

It felt really good last night. I'm not quick to jump into any kind of meet so it says a bit about where I'm/we're at I think.
I love your counsellor Maggie and genuinely feel the way she impacts the world, even just through this screen. I'm feeling quite impacted by the inequality and double standards at the moment. The fight with this one seems way beyond me which is unusual. It's nice to know there are many others wheelbarrowing in ways.
My family support worker finally called (only a week late) yesterday. She was really good (unfortunately as it made it impossible to fight with her 😉). Super apologetic and owned her mistakes. She offered to continue work for a little longer but I declined on the basis of a rupture in our relationship beyond repair and no rapport or trust there now. She let me express how I felt about it all (calmly and assertively which I'm proud of) and it ended well enough. Super grrrr though.
Miss Middle is up and gave me one of those awesome out of the blue tight squeeze hugs and an "I love you so much" 😊 Good start.
Better fly. Lunches to see to (ugh!).
Love the morning company, thank you. Hope your canvases are enjoyable today ❤

Re: Taking the plunge
I was asked to go in to my gig today to fill in but this time not in the role I usually do and am trained to do, but in a different role and another section where the paid employees work 😁 It was a huge confidence boost as it's more complex, higher risk work, beyond the scope of the usual work I do. I was given some lovely feedback and the big boss asked me to take it as a reminder of what they see me being able to do. It was a bit scary (like being a little kid in the big playground haha) and new but I had so much fun stepping outside that comfort zone. I managed to get time with my Big before I went and then race back to school as I got a call to pick one up early. I juggled lots today and am still standing 🎉
I feel really excited and seriously interested in looking at what study I need to finish to get there properly now. There's a lot of opportunity there if I want to take it by the look of things. Big yay 😊
Thanks for reading if you did (and for all the support with the little steps along the way)
Hope there's been good in the day for all.
❤😊

That is really fantastic to hear @CheerBear 🎉🎉
Well done all round .. gig, kids, etc.
I have every confidence that you can now go on and achieve what you want to do. Clearly your boss also has great confidence in you. You just have to keep believing in you.
Thanks so much for sharing. Very proud of you.
Sherry 🌹🍀💕👍😀
