Re: Taking the plunge
I am sooooo pleased also @Maggie - could not contain my excitement when I saw she was back ...literally fell off the couch with joy ![]()
She needs us now too so I am super glad she is back where she can get support from us all.
I have the garage to finish and then the trailer to stack after the cleaning. Then a box of papers to go through - shred or file - and organising and planning to start for the term. I also need to go into the new school to see what needs to be done so will probably do that Tuesday. It is supposed to be hotter later in the week so planning on some beach trips with Toby then.
Not sleeping is not good Maggie - I had years of that so know how it is ![]()

Yes @Zoe7 . It’s so tough for @Faith-and-Hope . We will be here for her. So many on and offline love her. She will get through this time, but it won’t be easy. ❤️
You are finally seeing the end, and beginning @Zoe7. Really hoping this year is great for you, I know there will be moments though.
I haven’t slept in years @Zoe7 . Meds don’t help. I’ve accepted it mostly, but I do have moments when I just crave a few hours. I have learnt how to rest. It was a desperate learning/nature development. Strange.

Re: Taking the plunge
I am buoyed by how much love there is here for her and how much support she will have @Maggie 👍
I went through similar for years too Hon but got a couple of hours occasionally. Plagued by nightmares when I did though so it was worse than being awake every night. Luckily now (mostly) the meds have helped. The only problem is I seem to get used to them quickly and have to increase the dosage further. On the positive side we started on a really low dose so there is plenty of room to move - the negative side is whilst I am getting used to them they make me tired during the day also.
Yes finally seeing the end of it all and it is a relief now to have it mostly done. The next couple of days I will finish it all and can relax over the remainder of the week - so looking forward to that.
Good morning @CheerBear ![]()
Time for me to get something to eat and then get a little rest before baby feeding time. I hope there is some good in both of your days ![]()

I didn’t know drive ins still existed @CheerBear . They don’t where I live anyway. I loved then when I was younger.
You must have a big car boot @CheerBear . It sounds fantastic.
You are taking some big/huge steps forward @CheerBear . Nice to see. The crew would have really enjoyed themselves.💙💜💛❤️💚
I was super disappointed with the paver yesterday @CheerBear. But I thought about it, and I’ve learnt some things from doing it. I’ll be more prepared next time. I will do it completely different, but not for awhile. It takes me some time to get over a failure like this.
I’m not heading to church this morning. I have a sty in my eye. Feels more like a foot. More obvious to me, but not taking any chances. 🤨🤨🤨

Re: Taking the plunge
We have had an SUV since our little car died. I love driving it as it feels safe and tall. With all the seats down big, middle and I can rest against the back of the front seats and little can cuddle up at our legs ,or Big and I at the back and little and middle at the front. It's squishy but that's part of the fun I think, plus it was the right temp to sit outside if they wanted to too 🙂 So glad we went.
It's really disappointing when crafty things don't go the way you'd planned or hoped or expected. Learning through experience teaches the best lessons I think, but I understand how it might take some time to try again.
Ouch with the sty. They aren't fun at all. How's it feeling to not be going today? Any idea how you'll spend the day from here?
