Re: Taking the plunge
@Maggie I'm sorry your spine has had a flare up. That sounds really awful 🙁 I can only imagine how debilitating it could be to have a part of your body so central in that kind of pain.
I'll have to have a look at nail polish pendants. That sounds interesting! Is it one you can share a pic of? Have you been mosaic-ing lately?
Morning @Former-Member 🙂 How are you doing today?
Big ouch @Zoe7. You sound very busy this morning but productive. Hope you have a chance to listen to your body if it's telling you to go slowly ❤

I'll rest later @CheerBear Whilst I still have some energy to keep going that is what I'll do - the couch doona is set up though for when I do crash. Tobes is presently sleeping on it - little sweetheart has had a long night himself following me around. ![]()

Aloha @CheerBear @Maggie @Zoe7 @Former-Member @Faith-and-Hope @Shaz51 @outlander and others 🙂
Hope you all have a good day today. You are all up so early and busy busy busy! 🙂 I've was around earlier, not as early as most of you, my 'support' seems to have evaporated. No biggie.
Sherry , I wrote a rather lengthy reply to your message here last week, but, it got pulled down shortly after. I can't really edit it on my phone and I can't get the link from work. Not sure there would be much of it left after I did the edits lol 😉
Fingers crossed your appointment went okay yesterday (sorry if I have the days/weeks wrong) and that you and hubby are travelling along nicely. I wonder if you have been out and dancing this morning? 🙂
@Zoe7, I hope the butterfly isn't bruised anywhere too delicate! Stay safe and try not to have any more thrills and spills 🙂
@Maggie, thanks for your message. I hope your back gets better soon.. its one of those bits that makes living quite diffucult when its not working properly.

Re: Taking the plunge
Hi @Gazza75 so good to see you.
I realise things have been difficult lately, so I didnt tag you on my latest update on my ptsd thread. Wont go into it here.
Yes I had a long reply post to you removed last week too. Suggested edits left nothing of substance, so I just threw my hands up in frustration ... and buried it. Silly thing is that anyone tagged would likely have read it on email notification anyway. Oh well ... no matter.
Do you actually have your own support thread @Gazza75 ? I never really know where to go for you. You support others on many threads, but I dont recall one of yours. If you do .. can you please tag me into it? And if you dont .. would it be helpful to open one?
No rain here yet for me to be doing a merry dance in. But looking likely this evening and over next few days. Fingers crossed. Quite widespread, so I think your farm will get some too.💕
@Maggie @CheerBear @Zoe7 👋

Re: Taking the plunge
Hi @Former-Member and @Gazza75
It sounds like you've both had recent experiences of being asked to edit a post so that it was in keeping with the community guidelines. Being asked to change one's words can be experienced as quite confronting, or at minimum, as an unecessary complication/inconvenience when you thought you'd already got down what you really wanted to say. If you're ever unsure why a particular edit has been requested or would like assistance with re-wording your post so that a post remains within the guidelines – please do contact the forums team and we will be happy to work with you. team@saneforums.org
The point that you raised @Former-Member about the notifications is a valid one and the team here have noted it. @Gazza75, as Sherry mentioned, you are a tireless supporter of others so it's important to ensure that your own needs are being met too.
Take care

@CheerBear Dropping off a very early ☕️☕️☕️☕️💙💙💙💙
I think from memory, you have a psych appointment this morning. He is going to be one impressed and proud psych me thinks. 👍👍
I’m guessing after such a huge adrenaline rush on Wednesday, you could be feeling flatish, and then some. I hope you can manage some down time, away from fine and normal, even short spells.
Thanks for the thoughts regarding the back pain. It is a pain in so many ways. But a good dose can eventually lead to motivation, so I have penned my letter. This afternoon I will discuss it with counsellor and get some feedback. 🤞🤞🤞
You will be looking forward to the end of school holidays no doubt. Something else to add to your many achievements of late. I hope there is time for @CheerBear .
Sending ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Re: Taking the plunge
Thanks for your kind words @Maggie. It was really nice to wake up to read your post.
I do have psych today, thanks for remembering. I can't get in to see him face to face so he's calling instead. Not ideal but still better than cancelling. I think he will enjoy hearing about the win on Wednesday also 🙂
I think I'm feeling tired more than anything at the moment. A post stressful thing crash is a bit of that for sure. Hormones and a time of the month not helping there either. And yep, school holidays. It will all pass though and we don't have long left of holidays now. I have to face a very scary book list soon. It sucks that it costs so much to send them to school (just one still as the school the littler 2 go to is much more reasonable).
I was talking yesterday to Mr who said a similar thing about pain leading to motivation. I saw it in him also. I am really glad you penned your letter. How does it feel to have done it? You matter and this is important and not right. Hope counsellor appointment goes well as it usually does. Any idea how long it will be until you see the new Dr?
Yesterday I gave myself my neon hair back :D. A new colour I haven't tried before. It was my reward for doing Wednesday. Sleepy eyes forgot I did it and I gave myself quite a surprise in the mirror this morning haha.
Hope your morning has started well. Very early this morning. Hugs
