Coffee is good @CheerBear I don’t have words.
Are you doing ok enough? You don’t need to answer if quiet is what you need.
Sometimes birds and coffee just have to weave their magic. ☕️☕️☕️

I'm ok enough I think.
The most beautiful sounding birds here this morning. So chirpy and happy. Coffee is good too.

Re: Taking the plunge
Do you have blackbirds @CheerBear silly question. I feel silly. 😥😥
They are lucky, the birds. I had five sparrows having a bath yesterday. Made me laugh.
Warm here, getting warmer. Though in comparison to the rest of the country, it’s mild.

Re: Taking the plunge
I took you out the back, to the lemon tree, to see if I could find the birds making the music. No blackbirds here this morning, though they could be around the front in the apricot tree because I can hear what I think is them. There are lots of little sparrows in the back yard. Sounding so happy and being very playful. I can smell the water this morning. That doesn't happen very often. I think my nose is used to the smells of the country after being away for a week (I went home for a night last night) so maybe it smells stronger today. It's nice out here this morning.
I've been spending some time with someone who spends time where you are. They said the kind of heat you get feels way warmer than the temp it actually is (that sounds silly!). More than the sun has a real bite where you are. Too hot sucks 🙁

Re: Taking the plunge
Yea @CheerBear hope being taken away has rocked my world. Why does everything shake, rattle and roll? Why can’t it just stay with that one loss?
Anyway, counsellor has held a fistful of hope for me for years now. She still holds it, specially when I can’t. Sharing my fistful with you @CheerBear , there’s enough to go around.
I’ve heard that also @CheerBear about the heat down here. Some say we are closer to the ozone layer. I have no idea, but it gets like an over. Summer is my hate season. Drains energy. Withers my inside. Not that it needs that, but it’s my toughest season every year. Most say depression lifts for them, not me. Just gotta be the odd one out eh 😁😁😁

Re: Taking the plunge
Thank you for sharing the hope that your counsellor holds. We need people to hold it when it slips away for us. I'm holding it with and for you too.
Summer can be so draining! I'm not quite as odd one out as you there but there's definitely a point where I get way over it and want the cool to come. We're being hit with a few days of heat here though I think its cooling down at night. I can live with that. It's when the heat carries in to the nights that I really feel it. No doubt the drain of summer is adding to the mash you're feeling.
Have you been crafting at all?
