Re: Taking the plunge
My gig went really well thanks. The last few I've had some very powerful experiences happen that have been a privilege to witness and have shared with me (sounds cheesy maybe but real feels there). This is another week of two days. How I manage to do it well yet manage the rest of my life so badly makes no sense, but I'll roll with it being proud I guess that at least one thing is going OK.
Fundraiser stuff to deal with today. Meltdown about it yesterday but no-one noticed or noticed enough to care. I'm dark and twisted about lots 😕
How about your day today?
@Former-Member grey sucks. I'm sorry 💐

@CheerBear Your gig sounds like a life saver for you. 💜💜That small fragile raft, holding you through the storms all around you.🖤🖤 Something to hold on to. 👍👍
The fundraiser stuff is awful. That no one noticed your meltdown is also awful. I wish you could say NO, but I know that’s not a possibility. Maybe next time??? Ours is cancelled because of weather. It’s going to rain, so it will be the following week. It’s a stall at a market, so no big deal. Counsellor doesn’t like getting wet. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Cant look at today yet. It might just have to happen, it will anyway, regardless of my 🖤🖤

Yes @Maggie @CheerBear ... grey is very hard. But not as bad as black I suppose. Good to hear that your blackbird left a calling card. How did little Mags react to her uninvited house guest? My Holly has a sore eye today, poor baby. She is trying to prove that she is not so old and slow ... she was rabbiting yesterday, and appears to have scratched her upper eyelid on a piece of wood while scrambling under a pile of wood. It doesnt seem to be bothering her too much, but it is a bit red and swollen where she took a tiny bit of skin off. I bathed it, to make sure no infection starts.
Plans for today? I might try to get to the gym a little later. Too late for the early pilates class, but there is another mid morning group class I might try to get to. Besides that ... I hope to get to do a little more of my 'flowers' diamond painting. Yesterday I framed my tree frog ... I decided to gift it to my sister when I'm down South for the family visit next week. Cant give something I made to everyone else and exclude her. So she gets the frog. It looks good framed. I will post a pic on the craft thread later, of the completed project. I gave it a nice orange border, which I think looks great in the black frame.
Right now though I am waiting for hubby to wake up for his second round of meds. Then I can get brekky happening. Its egg day again. And this time I am making poached eggs, with a salsa of tomato/mushroom/chilli/onion and relish on the side. Plus I am about to go out and pick some of my baby spinach from my little wheelbarrow vege patch. Will have wilted baby spinach on the side of the poached eggs. Sound okay?
Sherry 😊

How much I'm looking forward to the days my precious, angel, darling (feral) children make their own lunches :face_with_rolling_eyes:
So right with the gig @Maggie . Very dark and twisted thoughts stayed as thoughts and not as actions in part because I have a lot riding on thoughts staying as thoughts. There's a lot of good in the gig thankfully.
Counsellor is funny and fab 😁 I hope the extra week is OK for you. Sounds a bit like having another week might help, though I get that it could also extend how long it plays on your mind and how extra time to deal with things isn't always ideal.
I said no but clearly not loud or clear or well enough. For all I can be big and tough and scary, I'm a softie and a pushover with some things and this kind of thing is one. I had tears of sorts (which doesn't happen often/ever) and a "please don't ask me to do anymore" (which also rarely/never happens) and it was laughed at. My bad because I joke and muck around a lot so I'm thinking they saw it as me being silly and dramatic. Historically this day has been worth around 2 thousand and it all goes back to the kids. I can't not do it if I need to. Plan for this morning is to give as much of the work to others as I can or I'm ....ed. Fingers crossed 🤞
I like the idea of not looking at today and letting it just happen. Sounds like a good way to approach black blackness 💜
Somewhere between these today I think
Hope there's something good in the day for all
😊😁😉☕🖤

Your breakfast sounds incredible. Hubby is super lucky to have you Sherry. Awesome to even plan to get out to the gym and to have some crafty down time. Hope it all goes well today.

Re: Taking the plunge
@CheerBear I had a very big sad, lump in throat, and angry, at the response you received from reaching out. Very brave to have even tried.
My counsellor said something to me that resounds often. “ I don’t have people in my life who don’t have my best interests at heart”. It was something I have thought about, and then some. My twisted brain went everywhere, but eventually got it, even if it’s just a thought for now. I also don’t know where you find people who have your best interests at heart either. Like I said, my thoughts went/go everywhere with stuff like that. But it would be a nice place to find someday. Maybe?
And then @CheerBear theres people online who fit like a glove. 💜💜💜
🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞today you can share the load. I hope you are heard. 👂👂👂👂
Sending 💙💙💙💙 There are those of us here standing with you, wishing we could do more. Coffee will be flowing.☕️☕️☕️

@Former-Member I’m very impressed with your cooking skills. You are so good to that man, so many would have walked for less. I’m guessing you love him regardless. 💜💜💜 frustrating all the same.
Gym sounds like a good plan. Time away from demands etc. 👍👍👍
Looking forward to seeing your framed DP. Orange boarded sounds awesome. 🧡🧡🧡
Enjoy breaky. I’ve had some instant porridge.
