Re: Taking the plunge
Morning @Maggie @CheerBear @Appleblossom @Owlunar @Shaz51 @Molliex etc
Sooo good to have internet back on! Feel 'connected' again, in lots of ways. 😀 Fire situation continues to ease here thankfully.
Move day Saturday @Maggie ... Things happen quickly, once they start. New home sounds great .. So happy for you. Looking forward to Mondays long awaited RA specialist apt too.
Last chemo treatment for unwell person done and dusted @CheerBear . Imagine there to be so many mixed emotions with it all.
Cuppa needed here. Been unable to get rid of acrid smoke in nostrils and back of throat. Cuppa helps a bit.
Have a decent day all.
Sherry 💕

Re: Taking the plunge
Big smile to administering the last drop @CheerBear I love the blind eye experiences, they happen more than we know I think. 🤫🤫🤫 Would have been special to have a giggle at that particular time, the last minute kind of thing.
Well it’s funny how people here find out things @CheerBear I wanted to be the one to tell my painting neighbour, so I rang her. She answered and asked how she could help. I shared my news only to find out I was on speaker phone and most residents were at happy hr. 😂😂😂😂😂 Life goes on.....and on.
Award night tonight......the last stretch for this week. I hope you enjoy it, at least parts of it.
Your weekend is looking good 👀 I really don’t understand the games things. I think some go too fast for my mind. Mahjong is mine, and word games, I like playing with words.
Topup ☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️

Sending plenty of refreshments your way @Former-Member ☕️☕️☕️💕💕💕 Smoke in nostrils and throat sounds yukky.
Watching on tv atm, really awful. Feel for those people who lose homes etc, right before Christmas. Sad.
Take care. 💜💜💜💜

Love the eyes that get turned @Maggie and the thinking outside the box 🙂 It's always a little glimpse of 'good' and understanding out there which I think helps with the heartless systems.
Oh that's funny with the speaker phone, and sounds very typical of little community style news traveling. Half rolling my eyes at that for you. I hope you can continue to connect with those there who have given you something good.
Awards night kid is up for a handful of them tonight. I'm so proud of them 😊. They've worked so hard and done so well especially given everything that's happened. There was a 3 hour exam to get in to this school and I was worried that the pressure would be too much but it seems she works best under pressure. The growth and confidence is mega. I'll be there on my own tonight watching, feeling, reflecting. Proud.
This game I am playing at the moment is a fantasy kind of world, with horses to tame, recipes to make, monsters to fight, puzzles to solve. It's beautiful and an escape. I like it (and will put it down tomorrow for an even better one!).
Running behind already this morning but it's been really nice to catch up here. Good start again ❤
I hope today goes well for you both/all
Lots of these 🧡❤💚💙💜

Re: Taking the plunge
Thanks @Shaz51 . Would love to share a cuppa with you. Smoke thicker than ever, here today. No wind to clear it so far. Choking and hard to breathe at times. Fires around here are still out of control, but no longer at emergency level. Several here still on watch and act though. How is the situation where your family members are impacted by the QLD fires? Pretty bad up there still by the sound of things.

Re: Taking the plunge
Thanks @Maggie
A heat-pump - A/C - as long as the room is warm in winter and cool in summer and we can be comfortable physically at least
And thanks for the feedback on the voices story - I was so ignorant about people hearing voices back then - not idea what she meant and I was surprised - yeah - I have a quaint turn of mind at times and a sense of humour worth having so I make the most of so much

Re: Taking the plunge
Hi @Former-Member
I'm glad the fire situation is easier for you - I am concerned about my grand-daughter on the Sunshine Coast - yesterday here area was safe enough but the danger was very high - I have yet to look up the fires today - it changes constantly
And you have the internet back on - so good to hear - we really use it a lot in today's life-style - I have to connect my modem to the NBN and as far as I know I am connected - it just has to be done. I'm not sure if I will be any better off - it's a wait and see situation
Let's hope your air cools and clears soon - we have had fires a long way from the city in Melbourne in past years but the smoke from bush fires can obscure the sun making it chilly on firey hot days and aggravating asthma for days with the acridity - I hear you
I'm glad it's easier
