Re: Taking the plunge

@Maggie I am so pleased for you Your new place sounds like it could work really well, especially with a cosy outside spot.

Good Luck and I hope the move is relatively smooth.

Hugs

@CheerBear Good morning. Wondering how you are after a BIG day yesterday. Listening if you would like an ear, and understand if you don’t. 💕💕💜Also Big is doing responsible this morning. So big feels for letting go. All tough big stuff.

We’ve both made it to Thursday, well done us. 👍👍👍

Moving day is set for Saturday, so two more sleeps💕💕💕

My first ☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️ Is going down well. Jug is on if you would like to join me. No,pressure, even.

Re: Taking the plunge

Morning @Maggie ❤ Would love to join you, thanks.

Yay we did both make it to Thursday 😊 Definite well done us 👍

Yesterday was OK enough, thank you for asking. I was on autopilot I think running on little sleep. There was a mix up with appointment time right at the end of the day so the treatment was later than expected. He gets angry and I could feel that brewing and the tension from that a bit which wasn't fab. But I empathise with anger and know how to work with his better now. We reflected on the journey, wondered what next, and chatted as we do. It's been the best time with him under not the best circumstances and I'm thankful I have had that 🙂

Two sleeps until moving day! That's big! How's it all feeling this morning? Is there much to do between now and Saturday?

Re: Taking the plunge

@CheerBear Appointment mix ups are tricky, and angry response is very understandable. People in pain don’t need added pressure. Empathising with anger is amazing. Most run. So pat yourself on the back, it’s hard to do. I understand how your chats are so special/bonding. Such a double edged time for you. Emotions always seem mixed and opposite, happy/sad etc.

Yes @CheerBear two sleeps to go. It’s by far The worst move so far, being my forth in just over three years. I’ve reduced so much, but it’s all those bathroom/kitchen annoying things. Pain levels are high, but specialist app on Monday. Everything happening at once.

One big problem is I have to walk past at least 12 flats to get to the car with stuff. Makes it so much worse. But soon it will be in the past. 🤞🤞🤞

I’m guessing you are super tired. How’s your weekend looking. Any rest areas ahead?

Re: Taking the plunge

@Molliex Thanks for your thoughts. Hoping it’s my last move. Forth in threes years, I’m over it. Hope you are travelling as well as you can, it’s tough going for you. 💕💕💕

@eth That’s a great response 👍👍👍 Good luck with working through this with your support worker. Hope today is good to you.

@Owlunar I think, but I’m not sure, a heat pump and air con are the same thing. 🤔🤔🤔

I forget to mention the other day. I read one of your responses on another thread. It was your psych app a long time ago, where you were asked if you hear voice. Priceless. I do like the way your mind works . 💜💜💜

Re: Taking the plunge

Thanks @Maggie, for getting it and for listening. You're right - everything seems to have a flip side 😏 It makes it all a bit mixed up. We had a funny story one that made me giggle enough to share - right at the end, the very, very end, his line didn't want to do the last little bit of med. It can't go through a pump as it's a vesicant (pretty potent med that can cause trouble if it goes anywhere it shouldn't). Instead of being pumped it goes high on the IV pole so it can be gravity fed down. It would have been such a stuff around if it couldn't go through so I took the top of the line where it connects and stood on a wonky fabric chair on tip toes holding it as high up as I could. There's no way I was allowed to and the nurse would have been in heaps of trouble if anyone had seen, but she handed me gloves, told me to be careful and turned a blind eye as we all knew it just needed to be done. So technically I guess I gave the last drops 😁 He wanted to take a photo but didn't want to draw attention. It was really funny 😊👍

Four moves in three years is super rough 🙁 And yes those little annoy bits and pieces. They take forever! Very hard with pain too. I thought of your specialist appointment and how this has all happened at once. There's so much going on.

I'm guessing people there might know you're going now. Has it been OK for you to have them know?

I'm really tired now. We didn't get home until late again. I have a quiet day today if I make myself stop, but Big' s award night tonight. One last stretch this week. Sibling and I have written off this whole weekend as a video game weekend. A new and special to us all here one comes out tomorrow. Four of us very excited about it. One has a different new game to look forward to. It should be really good to have quiet fun and I'm looking forward to it 🙂
