Re: Taking the plunge
Really sorry @Former-Member to hear your fur baby was recently put to sleep. Thats always such a difficult time.
In trying to unwind, do you practice mindfulness at all? Relaxed breathing? Perhaps try playing some favourite music, or a happy movie? Read a book that is capable of grabbing your attention? A nice relaxing soak in the bath? If all else fails, do you have any sleeping tablets, anti- anxiety meds or sedatives that may help? Not suggesting you do that on a regular basis of course. But sometimes its needed.

I was walking to an appointment and found the most beautiful garden in a park. I saw this and thought of you both. Still at the appt. and will take more photos to put in the community garden afterwards, but couldn't help share this one right now.

Re: Taking the plunge
dear @Former-Member @Maggie @Former-Member @Faith-and-Hope @CheerBear
bella3 you have had two major events to plan for on top of hospital stay and much more..
you are understandably tired...weary....drained...
despite that ...you are here for all of us...
I am going to try and attach some words that I have read ....these words resonate strongly with me...
when my depression is starting to take hold which is what is happening now.....I look for quotes that I have saved ..at the time of finding them they had a positive effect on my thinking...
I want to share this with you....this is one of many things that I lose sight of when I am at my lowest...
so please accept these words that I offer up to you all

Re: Taking the plunge
D hurt her foot. Lifeguards picked her up in buggy and recommended going to hospital. So we've just arrived home from emergency again D is ok. I'm going to try and nap. It's all too much.
Catch you all soon.
