Re: Taking the plunge

Hi @Former-Member

All of that sounds dramatic and scary - I saw a lot of it on the news last night and this morning - that would be such a tense and unsettling situation. I can only keep watching the news and read what you write when you can write and pray you are okay - I really do care as so many other people do to

Your husband drinking at such a time is out of order - this you know but right now everyone needs to be at the best they possibly can be considering the circumstances - being ready to evacuate - let's hope he at least he will get in the car with you when you go - but you will go anyway - of course - you need to care about yourself

How tough - and you cooked a good dinner too - watching the sky at them same time as well

All the best Sherry - we are all here for you as best we can be

Re: Taking the plunge

Afternoon all 👋

Thinking of you @Former-Member ❤

I keep hoping to hear a 'ping' from my phone with housing news of yours @Maggie. Thinking of you with that too ❤

I had a bit of a win today in hearing from a tenants advocacy service who have offered to help me out with the real estate and landlord. They've picked up my case and contacted the agents hoping to negotiate to stop this from being escalated, though they're also happy to continue the fight if it goes further. It was a good feeling to know I have them on my side and a weight off in a way 🙂 Just wanted to share the little win here 👍

Re: Taking the plunge

@CheerBear No news today, but I do appreciate your thoughts so much regarding that.

Oh my, a win indeed. 👍👍 You do need this news, particularly as you are heading towards a very busy week ahead. Any weight lifted, is good news.

Take care this evening. 💕💕💕💕☕️☕️☕️☕️

@eth Thinking of you and your uncles situation. It’s a really tough time. So much destruction. Incredibly hard on so many levels.

I hope you are doing ok enough today. 💕💜☕️☕️

@Determined 🙏 Thinking of you and your family also. It’s such a worrying time for so many. Those caught in the middle, and those some distance away. Sending some of this your way. 💜💜💕💕

Re: Taking the plunge

🙁 for the lack of news @Maggie. That really sucks, I'm sorry.

It's quite warm here today (30° ish). I'm not sure what it's like down your way but I am hoping there's no snow about and that the aches and pains have eased up a bit.

I've had a case of 3:30itis for the last 2 hours I think. I'm waiting for dinner fairies but they're just not coming :face_with_rolling_eyes:

Take care also ☕❤

Re: Taking the plunge

😁😁 3.30 itis for 2 hrs @CheerBear . 💜💜☕️☕️☕️ Cold here, 17 but a cold wind. Aches are letting me know exactly where they are, but improved at least.

30 ish 😬😬😬 too hot for me already. 24 seems comfy, after that 🤪🤪🤪

Could dinner fairies come with sib? Hope so. 🍤🍲🥗🍕🍟🍔🌭🥞☕️☕️☕️

Re: Taking the plunge

I was writing a reply to say 30° was too hot for me on the back of an icy weekend and that I might have to have a shower to wake up, when I heard the sickening screech and thud of a cars just at the front of the house @Maggie. Definitely woke me up hearing then seeing that. I'm pretty sure there are no major injuries thankfully but for a moment it looked pretty bad. Enough for triple zero call. So many complete units drive around here treating it like a race track 😡😑😕 Very yuck.

Was hoping you might catch the right amount of heat from us here, but cold wind doesn't sound like you have 🙁

Sib is out so no dinner fairy here. But I'll use the adrenaline rush from the bang to help me in the kitchen.

Gentle hugs for you ❤

Re: Taking the plunge

@CheerBear That’s always a sickening sound, more so when you suffer from CPTSD.

Good there are no serious injuries, but really bad it’s used as a race track, very yukky scary feels.

I have some fears like that about moving. Will it be safe. What will neighbors be like. So many what ifs, even though there isn’t a choice. Life is scary on many levels eh.

Adrenaline rush and cooking dinner gentle hugs there. Go gently. 💕💕💜💜☕️☕️
