Re: Taking the plunge
@Former-Member I was hoping the rain had got to where you are. 🤞🤞🤞the drizzle will become much more. ☔️☔️☔️☔️💦💦💦🌧🌧🌧
Hope hubbys appointment goes as well as can be expected, and the car service stuff too.
Time with Marilyn and DP thus afternoon sounds like a good plan.
I’m going to find a passage through this flat. Have a good day. 💜💜
@eth Will be thinking of you with driving lesson 2 today, also, not good memories attached to today for you. Lots of these incoming. 💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕

Re: Taking the plunge
Thanks a lot @Maggie . Cup day anniversary goes back 31 years and still effects me. It was the day I had to leave hospital without my baby who was in intensive care due to being born at 26 weeks. The nurses had a huge tv on high volume in the nursery and refused to turn it down, despite what I was going through. A horse race more important than a mother who thought she would not see her baby survive another day. My child did survive, but it is still a vivid memory. It was all caused by a dr's accident during a pap smear, and my child is legally blind to this day as a result.
At least my lesson is in the morning so hoping the hype out there hasn't started yet while I'm doing it.

Oh @eth I can see how hard this day is for you. Sending lots and lots of these. 💜💜💜💜 There are no words sometimes, just a gentle caring gesture to let you know we are here with you. 💕💕💕

Re: Taking the plunge
I can see that today is a difficult one for you @eth . Unfortunately those sort of anniversaries dont seem to fade much, do they? No matter that its now 31 years, those ones still hurt, and bring with them the many emotions associated with the memories. I feel for you .. so very much. Perhaps its a good thing you have your driving lesson today. Something to take some of the focus off other things for a little while at least. Are you able to do something more pleasant this afternoon?
Sherry 💕🌼

Re: Taking the plunge
Yes @Former-Member I have my water tai chi class just after the driving lesson, so looking forward to that as it takes my mind off everything else.
Hope today has some nice bits in it for you too.

Re: Taking the plunge
@Maggie very much getting your earlier post and hearing you. Really hoping this next move is the one you'll find safety, stability and peace in. Wondering how the inspection went (if it went at all)?
Hope it's all gone OK for you this morning @Former-Member and that you get some down time and time to yourself today.
Lots of love @eth. It's so hard having tough times fall during times it feels like the rest of everyone celebrates and times when the reminders are inescapable ❤
I'm pretty tired today, in a
'tired doesn't come close' kind of way. I realised a few days ago that I've accidentally been taking quite a bit more of my mood stabiliser than I should be, though I'm not sure for how long I've been doing it. It was very much an oopsies with amount of each tablet changing but me not changing how many of them I was taking. I feel silly and am not looking forward to explaining it to my GP but I am hoping once I see her and get back down to my actual dose some of the wonky I've been through lately (including jumbled head and tiredness) might fix itself up 🤞
Well that's me. Quiet day from here 🎉 Hope the day is going along OK for all ❤

Re: Taking the plunge
@CheerBear Deep sad happening with and for unwell person says so much. 💜💜💜
A walk in the forest would be a small breath of fresh air, in more ways than one I guess.
Yes, flat inspection happened, around boxes. 👍👍😁😁😩😩
I’m not surprised you’ve accidentally taken More mood stabilisers than are recommended @CheerBear . It’s been wonky in so many BIG ways for awhile for you. Maybe things will settle in some areas and it will even itself out. I hope so anyway.
I’ve fallen in a hole. I find it can take me awhile to catch up with my emotions. Not sure why that is, avoidance maybe. Then bang, no avoiding it then. 😩😩😩
I might try a bit more + stitch🤔🤔🤔🤔
Are you working with your hook @CheerBear , or having some down time??

Re: Taking the plunge
I super understand how you might be in a hole. Avoidance can do that. I also find sometimes emotions need to be put aside so I can get stuff done, but they do catch up then flood. All that's gone on for and with you plus the box packing with the pain - I'd be in a hole too I think.
Hope you're enjoying your stitching. I have been doing a little bit of mine, but it's pick up put down today with the crew at home. More tonight maybe.
Sibling just called and is bringing dinner home from work (works in hospitality). So many thumbs up to having someone else think of dinner 👍👍☕👍😁
Hope there's some comfort in your stitches and the hole this afternoon 💜

Dropping off some pretties from this morning
The rose is an ultra special one as it's one unwell person and I planted together. It's on either side of an arch thingy and has slowly climbed up and around so the two are nearly touching now
And this forest share. I took it a couple of months ago (few of my other forest pics are forum shareable) It's one of my favourite pics I think 🙂
😊

Re: Taking the plunge
@CheerBear Isn’t nature amazing. They are beautiful pics, thankyou 😍😍😍
I can imagine the utter exhaustion of unwell person, and the last treatment. Some very BIG emotions and fears I would guess. Hard for everyone, and that awful helpless feeling, especially when you’re a fix it person.
Yey for mobile dinner. Sounds like advantages with sib living with you.
Yes, I’ve been doing + stitch on and off, certainly helps with the negative self talk. This evening sounds like it could be a relaxing one for you, something you really do need. 💜
